Do you receive a default notice from the OC and the DCA? The reason I ask is my default notice is dated November yet my Experian credit file shows I defaulted in October? Any advice?

Good feedback, thx. -
yeah I agree, but my main question is whether a NOA and DN can be in the same letter?!?
-
The default notice only gave 14 days-

IMO it doesn't sound enforceable BUT would wait for someone more experienced than me to comment.

Perhaps may be a good idea to move my thread to the Legal Issues section and if anyone could offer advice on my previous posit it really woudl be appreciated.

Does it have the creditors signature on it? Is your signature on the terms and conditions page incorporating the prescribed terms?

Best bet is to set up an account with photobucket. Google photobucket and then set yourself up, any probs come back here to get further advice about setting up a link on your thread to the document(s).

You may be better posing it up on here, taking out any information that may identify you, and get an expert on here to look at it.

CAPONE: Screwed up NOA, what next?
reggie76 replied to lunar jim's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
I was advised by Eversheds, acting on behalf of a creditor, that it was acceptable to just send it by post. "Both of the letters attached to my previous email would have been sent by 1st class post, which is an acceptable method of service. There will, therefore, be no proof of postage. The notice of assignment was included within the attachments and is the standard format used by our Client." Be interested to know if this is incorrect!! -

Does a NOA have to be posted recorded or special delivery? -
Does the creditor have to provide an annual statement to show payments made and the current balance? Also could someone look at my previous post and offer some feedback. Thx
