A lot of people plump for the Post Office's travel insurance, but I wonder whether it has anything to do with their large advertising spend recently? I used them and had no problems, the only thing is they are not the cheapest in the marketplace, and their competitors seize on this, as mentioned here: [EDIT] If the adage of "you get what you pay for" is true, then you'll be fine as well! -

postggj, if you and your brother will buy the property from her, it has to be a market rate. (although that does mean it will be tumbling in price for the next few years, like all the other house prices in the UK).

gwc1000, what about a supermarket shopping receipt?, that's a VAT receipt too, and Tesco's et al don't ask for your postcode. -

I agree with Bernie. Just to add, if you do have a pre-existing medical condition, it's worth reading this article: ??? It also lists some companies that specialise in travel insurance for those with pre-existing medical conditions. (Edit: it won't let me post a link...)
