well i have just received a yellow card from them demanding full amount of £1696.60 immediately it is one of my debts from a student overdraft i had which would have been opened around 5/6 years ago....no idea where they have gotten my address from....advice appreciated on what to do next

Thank you all for your advice i do have debts so im sure it is one of mine BUT it was addressed in my maiden name so its obviously a long lost one as i have been married a few years. i have saved the letter and will see what happens next. Thanks again

Hi im a complete newbie i found this forum by typing in AIC to find out what they are! I have today received a post card from AIC, The Clock Tower stating give me a call on 01412 283 068 Daniela and a code which im guessing is a reference on the bottom lefthand side. I now know they are a debt collector but i dont know how to find out what debt it is for without contacting them theres only one debt i can think of that it possibly could be and that was with first credit last i heard. Any advice on how to find out what the debt is without admitting liability? Thanks
