  1. looks just like the usual welcome garbage, stil very similar. The ppi section is absolute garbage as for it to be fit for purpose they need to determine if you have any pre-existing conditions. If you have then its a mis-sell.
  2. actually, i wouldnt mind seeing it, just to see if its advanced any from the one i have from 2002.
  3. I find it hard to belive that you actually have a needs and demands statement, it should be framed
  4. you are under no obligation to purchase the car and to be honest its worth writing a leter of complaint to OFT detailing the threats and if the dealer does ring, politely tell him to do one. I work for a massive car dealership and to be honest we have cancellations all the time due to peoples financial situations changing literally overnight and to be honest we always refund the deposit because when a persons circumstancies change for the better they will remember that and come back.
  5. i worked fora company based in ireland but when i came back to the UK i did fitting fro several companies. I know who the rogue companies are, who i would not go near.
  6. I used to work for a blinds company and we use to get cancellations due to certain issues, however the company never took anyone to court as the 50% deposit more than covered the cost of the blinds to be made, you would be surprised how little cost goes in to manufacturing a blind. I would ask the company to re-visit you and justify the cost if you can 100% prove that they are overcharging you. Also at the end of the day, no court in the land can actually force you to actually have the blinds fitted. They also have to bear in mind that it would caost at least £500 to take you to court and its a risk that they could lose for the sake of £300 + the £500 costs. Who is the blinds company if you dont mind me asking?!
  7. exactly......would not employ them to clean my cats litter tray
  8. cheers post, ill get as much info for you as i can to back up what im saying.
  9. i have a statementfrom them which includes the gap insurance added but like them all, no needs and demands, however on the agreement it states in capitals that i dont want gap but they have still included it
  10. hi post its not welcome, its park finance and they are just as bad. I cant post my agreement as my scanner does not work but i have all the info in front of me, any help and il be very gratefull...what is a a tomlin order
  11. Please bear with me as its a little long winded A few years back i started a business on the strength of a good contract so i purchased a van on finance. Almost as soon as the contract was offered it was taken away due to unforseen circumstancies, subsequentely i had the van re-posessed. I was then hassled by this company for payment of the balance owing after the van was sold, to which i agreed to pay £50 a month which was stretching my finances a bit as we had just had a new baby. November last year when the recession hit our workplace and income dropped i wrote to my creditors offereing a reduced payment but to be revised in the future when things pick up, however this finance company kicked up a right stink and threatened all kinds of things and then refused to take the reduced payment. i requested a copy of my agreement as i had never had a copy and when it came back it was very illegible. I studied the agreement to try and fing a reason to dispute it and on the agreement they have added GAP. I specifically didi not ask for GAP as i knew it did not cover the vehicle due to what it was to be used for and on the greement in the section that covers GAP, it clearly says (NO, not required) so even though they acknowledge i didnt want it they have still added it. Now my agreement should have been a 48 month agreement but instead its 47 months with a payment of Gap added. This means that my payments include GAP so the contract is potentially wrong. The finance company decided to take me to court and my defence was the illegability of the contract and the added gap. I was due in court next week and i recieved a call from there solicitor and to be fair he was a nice guy who could not understand the finance companies methods. After a discussion i agreed to pay them £25 a month. Today a recieved a consent order that is signed by the solicitor and requires my signature. what bothers me is i dont know what a consent order is and the implications if i cant pay in the future. Am i right to agree to go along with this or does my defence have any substance. the total amount payable is £11,727.36 This is 47 x 213.07 deposit of £1500 gap payment of 213.07 because of the gap payment the total amount is wrong as if it was a straight 48 payment the payments would have been £208.63... does this make it unenforceable and maybe the reason they have called to settle out of court.
  12. There is so much going against welcome finance, its just a cse of waiting now...can only be a matter of days before the banks decide to roll over the debt or not
  13. to be honest if any decent comany had jobs to offer then they would be wise to stear clear of these muppets take care
  14. hi voda your right and to be honest these are not far off being loan sharks, i cant wait for them to go under and i just want the employees to suffer so badly as the treatment they have dished out is absolute bullying.
  15. it baffles me that they are in so much debt and need to collect in as much money as possible, yet they still dont comply with a CCa request from march. No wonder this company has hit the rocks as it cant get simple admin in place. I think welcome are living on borrowed time, i cant see any way out of the mess they are in and its down to the low life incompetant gung-ho staff who fly by the seats of there pants, working for a company that makes the rules up as it goes along. I hope the welcome employees are sweating and worrying about there futures and potential hard times they face. As i said a while back i know a girl that works for them and i had a bit of sympathy for her but after talking to her last week and seeing a whole attitude change, it was a pleasure to see her stressed and worried about getting a new job, she knows what is coming, and you know what....it serves her right...as what goes around comes around.
  16. it seems a bit atrange at the moment, we requested and SAR and CCA back in march and i discussed this with them a few weeks back, but it just seems to have gone quiet on the WF front...has sit gone quiet on the whole WF front???
  17. quite scary really that redundancies are on the up.... sorry to hear about your bad news though, i will keep my fingers crossed for you
  18. The agreement is 2005, but the signature enhancement is so obvious, does this potemtially render the agreement unenforceable..... does it require an agreement number also to actually pin it to an agreement
  19. Just received a signed CCA through Nobinson way. I cant post it as my scanner is broken. It has all the details you would expect, APR, payment intercvals etc. It has my details at the top of the form and crap ones details, however there is no agreement number and quite clearly my signature has been written over and looks different and the date of the agreement has been written over and obviously changed as you can see the bits of the origional date atill on there. My first thought is that surely there should be an agreement number on there and if my signature has been written over to enhance it then surely this may cionstitute fraud.. any help or advice would be gratefully received.
  20. Hi post, i get what your saying. When we sell vehicles at my place of work and a customer purchases it through a finance option, any warranties or insurance that they request are included in the total amount of credit so the termination figure is based on the total amount and once you have reached that amount and VT`d the car then that is the last of it. As you know PPI is absolute bobbins anyway but the termination figure should include the ppi as once the agreement is over then the insurance is void.
  21. just tye name "intrum justitia" makes me laugh...is it meant to make them sound more important than what they really are....low life DCA`s
  22. thanks post, he was a real muppet
  23. just had a right arrogant twonk on the phone from this company threatening court action and charging orders for an account with cap one. trouble is that what they sent in reply to my cca request was the standard application form. Anyway he had his little rant and advised me that they are a very proffessional company blah blah, i laughed and hung up...
  24. i know kids can be a nightmare at times but nowadays you really have to keep your eyes on them, them parents need to take a step back and ask themselves some serious questions about looking after kids... do people not listen to the news and learn from what has happened to children...it makes me feel ill.
