hi to u all great forum keep up the good work. i need a little bit of advise if any one can help me i wrote to yorkshire on the 6th feb requesting a cca, i received the letter back on fri 22nd feb, what looks like a application form and a copy of a visa card condition of use on the application the account number is diffrent to the one on the letter i dont now if it is the proper one your advise would be most appriciated thanks marjie06

Hi could some one give me some advise please, me and my husband have our mortgage with GE, i have been off work for 14months due to illness, we have kept up with our payments until this month we wrote to this people back in january explaining our situation and said we could only afford to pay a bit and sent all the documents they needed expenditure, sick notes, husband wadge slips my letter from my employer not receiving any salary, which they never replied so my husband rang them up explaining to them again all thou they had all the relevant documents sent to them, a lady who he spoked to advise him to pay interest only for 6months but he at to put in writing so he did that was the 12th feb on the the 15th we received a letter thanking us in order to consider converting your account in to temporay interest only payments for a 6months period( hopefully not for that long) the need evidence of my medical documents which they have got any way we have sent them off again that was yesterday the 19th feb, then we have received a letter today saying we unfortunately are unable to convert your account to interest only as our account does not meet our criteria yours sincerely customer service department advise would much be appriciated thanks marjie06

as any body had any dealings intrum justitia please i sent them a letter last week 6th feb requesting a cca, today i have received a letter to increase the payments cheek of it, they have received the letter i sent because they have signed for it, so shall i just wait to see if they send me my request for a cca, advice would be much appreciated thank you marjie

hi could some one give me some more advise please last week i sent a letter to droyds DCA requesting a copy of a cca 6th febuary posted it the 6th they did not receieve it till yesterday 13th i have checked with royal mail no sig thou yet which takes about 5 days. so this morning i have received a letter of the redcats uk dated the 11th febuary thanking for my letter so how do they make that out. i will write whats in the letter i attach a copy of the standard agreement which you would have signed in accordance with advice given to you at the time you established your home shopping account hith la redoute you appear to have acted in a way which indicates that an agreement was signed as you have conducted the account for some time by placing orders receiving goods returning goods making payments copy statements showing all transactions are so also enclosed. these enclosures satisfy the requirements of sections 77-78 of the consumer credit act 1974 in regard to supplying a copy of the agreements and accounts statements i must how ever correct your statement that we are under no obligation to provide a facsimile copy of a signed agreement the regulation only requires us to provide a copy of the agreement and it is not necessary to provide a siqnature box, i refer you to regulation3 consumer credit act (cancellation notice and copies of documents) regulations 1983(s1.1557) i look forward to receiving an offer of payment on the balance outstanding yours sincerely miss j wall i can not remember signing a agreement whith them i haven,t orderd anything for years and yes i have been paying on a monthly plan with droyds because i have been bulied in to it like a fool help please

hi thanks for your reply, it was a credit card i took out HALIFAX/ HBOS £1,000 i caint remember what date ( sorry) i supposed to owe £1,308.64, on my credit file its said i defaulted on the 30/06/03 £1,503 then out of the blue i had a letter from 1st credit 5th november 2004 that they were taking over the payments so like a fool i have been paying them on a plan of £19 a month because of my financial difficulties, i have recieved letters from them in the past,, which they did go quite for a while, because i have been off work for 12 months i caint afford to pay them anything now no income, so the letters have started to arrive and phone calls again,then the last few weeks i have been looking throu the forum, i used the template to write to them requesting a copy of cca i sent it on the 7th of february and to day i have received a letter from them that they are requesting from there client which i presume is HBOS they said it is going to take 6 to 8 weeks if u want me to type the letter for you to have a look i will do thanks
