  1. when i discovered that a certain rugby player who i have a bit of a thing for is back in the Tigers squad - welcome back, Harry I am slightly ashamed to say i danced round my mum's living room. Mum thought i had lost the plot!!
  2. what made me swear? my stepbrother-in-law who thinks it hilarious to wind me up on facebook unfortunately his comment backfired on him majorly hello again everyone - has been a while!
  3. Leona Lewis - Happy. I really should go to bed - I have an early coach in the morning!
  4. Oh my god!!! Im home!! Havent been here in ages. Nice to see the cheekiness is continuing. Im on a DMP now but I've had minimal problems with DCA's which Im extremely disppointed with! Everyone was well - NICE to me!! Im now doing battle with BCW for my mate. I think they're going to get a short, sharp shock when said mate gives them permission to talk to her 'advisor' about the fact the only documentation that has been provided was a forgery (thats another story) and that muppet on the phone the other day claimed that he had a true copy, signed in her handwriting (there isnt one - mate never signed one) in front of him and would send it out!!!
  5. I worked for Hillary's Blinds for a year at head office in Notts. Yes the customer service wasnt great but I dont think its terribly professional for a rival company to openly slate them on a public forum.
  6. I put the internet on at 11.30 to see on Sky homepage so I went straight to BBC news to see what the situation was... OH had Teletext on downstairs and we confirmed the two. RIP jacko - you may not have had it easy in life so I hope you rest in peace. xx
  7. I do like this one better... only problem is im singing it constantly.... and Im looking in OH's direction when Im singing it....
  8. I've got the same problem - I double-barrelled my name with my partner's, but I also use my old name for several accounts that are included in my DMP (a Littlewoods account and an old NatWest account) and I have 2 accounts with the Leeds Losers - Im reluctant to send them my deed poll for various reasons (one being it has my real signature on it ) so I;ve got 2 names on my CRA records which they wont put right!! I changed it by usage last year and officially this year but most of my defaulted accounts are in my new name, so quite often I have to think before giving my name to anyone as I often dont know which name I have used!!!
  9. This is absolute gold!!! Consider ur scales well and truly tickled... *waits patiently for reply*
  10. Hey everyone.. Just had to tell you this... managed to get the word 'threat-o-gram' into a phone call with the Leeds Losers... phone monkey was quite bemused!!! 1 to me methinks....
  11. *gets in queue and waits patiently*
  12. Hark! Is that the grinding wail of the CAGBot I hear??? *runs off before the cagbot gets me for insulting it*
  13. Thats brilliant Underground, thanks very much for your help on that one - you've just saved me a fiver!!!
  14. Hi Underground, Can I just ask what may sound like a really stupid question? I dont live in London but travel there a lot, and I have 2 Oyster cards for when I go - one is an unregistered yellow 'visitors' card and the other is a 'proper' blue one. I registered the blue one online as the next time I go to London (next Friday) Im going to have very little time to stand in queues and since my debit cards were cloned at a LU ticket machine last January, it has made buying tickets on the day very difficult as I hate carrying cash!! I registered and topped up online, the card being registered in my own (obviously female) name. OH and his mate are going to London in August, and obviously there will be no problem with the yellow one. However, if I gave OH my card to use (PAYG) and he was stopped by an inspector, would it come up the card was registered to a Miss? (obv not him ha ha, he's 6ft and built like a brick outhouse ) Should I just give him the money to buy another one for himself just ot be on the safe side? Ta muchly! Mrs R xx
  15. I had some fun with Lowell the other day. I managed to get the word 'threat-o-gram' into the conversation.... that totally threw the monkey on the other end!!! It was very funny.
  16. I used to work for Abbey (Santander) and we were told we didnt have to have an Abbey account if we didnt want one, for the first 7 months I worked there I had my salary paid into a Barclays account with no problems - I did open an Abbey account but only because we got paid a day earlier if we did!! It stinks that one part of the Santander group is flexible where another one isnt - but thats A&L for you....
  17. I was at Tigers v Bath yesterday.... what a game!!!
  18. On the flip side, it would be nice to actually ensure the barrier staff know what they are on about I travelled form London Waterloo to Bournemouth at the end of February. My ticket was one of those 'super-cheap-super-advance-only get on the train you're booked on or hell and damnation will befall you and your kin' type ones, and it said on it 'AP Woking' now the previous train said it stopped at Woking, but my train said via Guildford. I have to plead ignorance and say I dont know the Surrey area and so assumed that it didnt go through Woking. So I asked the guy on the barrier and he looked at me like I was some sort of little green alien, and muttered vaguely 'I dont know, ask the guard and he might let you on!!!' I had a lot of luggage and there wasnt anyone vaguely guard looking about, so I had to get on. As it happened, the guard was fine, and explained yes my ticket was correct and would be so long as the train passed through Woking (it did) and didnt necessarily have ot stop there. (it didnt)But had I listened to the guy on the gate I might have missed my train!!!!!!
  19. Everything's just wonderful - Lily Allen (Alright Still) 'I wanna get a flat and though I can afford it, its just the bureaucrats who wont give me a mortgage, its very funny cos I've got your *beep* money but Im never gonna get it just because of my bad credit....* Spot on Lily.... Story of my life!!!
  20. And the Oscar for best speech denouncing DCA's goes to........ FUZZYBOBBLE!!! *cue thunderous applause from satisfied Caggers*
  21. Hi everyone, Im just about to send letter so if someone can pls tell me if im doing the right thing? Got a letter the other day about a New Look store card debt at my old address. CCA letter is prepared and ready to go - I know exactly how old the account as I took it out just after i met my OH - its 2 and a half years old - can I still CCA them or not???? Also, *puts hands over ears ready to be yelled at* they have my debit card details for an HSBC debt with Red thats about finished (two more payments) I have included a strongly-worded letter to them saying I do not authorise them to take any money form my card for this debt and if they do I will report them to the police for theft. Do you think there is a possibilty they might try it and what should I do?! thanks!!! Mrs R xx
  22. Hey, I work near Measham and know people who live there.... Can easily find out whether theres actually anybody at that address if needs be. Good luck...
  23. I hope things carry on being quiet. ESPECIALLY REGARDING THAT TOTALLY UNENFORCABLE DEBT OF MINE YOU HAVE WORST CREDIT - DONT EVEN TRY IT, IM A 'VULNERABLE PERSON.' I will have no hesitation in telling on you *big raspberry* God that feels better! Keep up the good work FB!
