They must have been reading my mind-whilst I was scouring the site looking for a template the postie cam and there was a large brown envelope from MBNA. Just looking through it all and the first thing I notice is that there is no copy of my signature anywhere on the thing, I will scan it and put it on here removing any identifying info. But-it looks like this is unenforceable at first glance. -

Hi I am now composing my next letter as I have had no response from them. I do keep getting them calling me but now I let the answer mach pick everything up and only pick up when it isn`t them. I just am checking that I`m right in that the 8th is the day I send off my you are now in default letter. -

Will do-thanks again. It is a worrying step to take when you are unused to the process. I`m keeping a copy of everything they send me,the fact that they would just deny an over the phone arrangement is what prompted this step. Hard to believe they don`t understand, or rather don`t want to understand that they can`t have what I haven`t got. Thanks to you and other people here I feel a helluva lot better. It means a great deal to me. -

Thanks Studentatou, I have been reading up on here a bit. They ignore them it seems. I got my first email off them today at 2.30 telling me how helpful they can be-all I need to do is ring their customer service team-they got the CCA letter then-it was on that. -
Most over 25s are covered TPO on other vehicles for occasional use. Check your policy-it will be on the certifcate of insurance It is generally only available if your own policy on your own car is fully comp but there are policies out there that have the extension on TPFT policies.

Hi this is my second post, so echo the above-sorry if I have made a forum faux pas-I`m a bit nervous at the moment. Just sent my first CCA to MBNA this morning after a rather awful telephone conversation with a woman there threatening me with various different things. I`m about to do this with Egg too. I had thought they had all been told to behave and give us some room to repay buit these two companies aren`t. -
Hi All, this is my first post here so if I have made a mistake let me know-I`m only a newbie. I too have just begun my fight with MBNA. I sent them a letter via recorded 1st class post this morning-the one where they sign on receipt informing them I want the CCA and they aren`t allowed on my premises or to harrass me further until I get it etc. I am having severe financial difficulties after losing my business and could not afford the payments. I had made an over the phone arrangement to pay 3 lots of £ 50 on 23rd each mth. They told me that as long as I make the payments there would be no further charges to my account and when the three payments were made I would need to send in a financial statement etc. They were initially very pleasant and helpful but this morning I had a call from some woman from MBNA (who thought she could play hardball with myself-what a laff!), who denied there had ever been an arrangement and promptly demanded all the arrears-she was rude and beligerent to say the least. This has spurred me on to deal with them properly-ie the CCA letter route. I am following all the threads as well as I can but I just wanted to say to everyone else who is struggling with debts that there is another one on board.
