  1. Hi Lassitude, That is a standard letter that you have received. Send them a cease and desist letter, you will then receive a letter from Hunter Forest.Co, Use Bernie's templete letter to reply to them, they will eventually go away.
  2. Hi Proton, After I sent the 'cease & desist' I received a letter from Hunter forest.co, Asking for £115.00, I didn't reply or phone them, they gave me 7 days to pay, that was on the 6th december 07, Have not heard from them since. Hope that answers your question. don't give in to them, if you follow Bernie's templete letters, there is every chance they will go away. As I was in the same position as you, I demanded they take me to court as i was 100% sure that i would win the case.
  3. Hi Proton, If you look back at the post's 114 and 115 of this thread you will find the letter that i used in my first reply to UKPC. Thanks to Barnsly Boy and Patdavies. This should clear any misunderstanding on your part as i was in the same situation as you. I then used Bernie's templete letters after my first reply from them.
  4. Hi Lassitude, Do not worry about them, and DO NOT PAY THEM they are [problematic], I have had dealings with them and I used Bernie's templete letters, which you will find in the stickie's at the top of the forum. If you look under the threads UKPC PARKING FINES in the forum you find the kind of letters that i have received and replied, in my posts. Do not givein to them, they will eventually go away.
  5. UKPC v Digger42 (October 2007) 1. yes 2 yes 3 no 4 e) Three letters from UKPC - One from H.F.Co I even demanded they take me to court, no reply since 6th dec 2007.
  6. Hi Bankbustermum, Welcome back to the forum. I would have sent them one back saying see you in court.
  7. Hi roymunsen, My advice to you would be to use the templete letters. the chances of them taking any kind of action is very slim, I even asked ukpc to take me to court and they have failed to do so.
  8. Hi furious beno, Don't worry about the photo its about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, If you go to the top of the forum and click on Bernie-the Bolts templete letters you can't go wrong in useing them in your fight against UKPC. digger42
  9. Hi kef9, If you look at my posts, you will see the kind of letters that you are likely to recieve from UKPC. Its been over a month now since i last heard anything from them, so hopefully they go away. PS If you use bernies templete letters you can't go wrong.
  10. Hi all, In reply to the good advice given by Andy7807 & Barnsley Boy. I decided not to reply to H.F & Co or telephone them. As I had already stated that I would not deal with UKPC or their agents in my last letter to them on 27th november 07. I was therefore waiting for them to send me another letter, as this would then help me further in any Harassment case that I could bring against them, Whether I have done the right thing or not remains to be seen? It has to be said that in the letter from H.F. & Co that payment is to be made within 7 days. It is now 14 days since the letter they sent me, it could be that they have given up, but I'm not holding my breath yet.
  11. Hi emopaz, I am also from grimsby and in dispute with UKPC, dont worry, there are plenty of threads on this site, and templet letters that you can use in your fight against them
  12. Hi everyone, Would you believe it, Got a letter from Hunter Forrest & Co today, now asking for £115.24. After I sent them the letter I posted here on the 27th nov asking them to take me to court? What do you think I should do now?
  13. Hi everyone, This is the letter I have sent to UKPC today. Dear Sirs, I refer to previous correspondence. I urge you to take notice of what i have written to you. I have asked you to provide evidence to substantiate your claim against me and you have failed to do so. I feel that i have done all i can to assist you, unless you provide evidence to substantiate your claim against me i shall be unable to help you further in this matter. This alleged debt therefore remains disputed by me. Save for supplying the evidence referred to above i must ask you to '' Cease and Desist'' correspondence with me. I will now make it clear to you of my intentions. I have taken legal advice on this matter and my advisers state that I have a good case, and that I will defend the claim in court. Therefore I demand that you issue proceedings within 14 days. I will not deal with any debt recovery agency and if you fail to issue, I will regard any further contact by your company or your agents as an offence under the protection from harassment act 1997. y/f thanks to Bernie's posts The second part of the letter is a quote from a solicitor. Has anyone got any comments on this?
  14. Thanks for that Barnsley Boy. My next letter will be '' Cease & Desist '' I Will also demand that they issue court proceeding within 14 days. As i wish for them to take me to court? They obviously don't take any notice of the letters posted to them. Has anyone got any coments on this course of action?
  15. Hi everyone, This is the letter I wrote to UKPC, on the 19th november. Dear Sirs, ref: Final reminder. I refer to previous correspondence about your claim (copy enclosed) You appear to claim that I, as keeper, am legally responsible for this alleged debt. I deny this. Would you please advise me what statute(s) and / or judicial precedent enable you to enforce? This penalty against me. Unless you provide evidence to substantiate your claim against me I shall be unable to assist you further in this matter and I restate my denial of this claim. y/f thanks to Bernie the Bolts posts This is the reply I received today. Dear sir, Thank you for your recent communication concerning the above Parking Charge Notice. Please rest assured that our Appeals Manager has personally reviewed this case and carefully considered the various points raised. Our view, however, is that these particular circumstances are neither unreasonable nor unjust and so we will not be waiving this parking charge in full. You will be aware from the Parking Charge Notice that we offer a 50% discount for parking charges paid within 7 days. As you lodged an appeal, we are prepared to extend this period for another 14 days from the date of this letter. But if we do not receive your remittance at the reduced rate by 6th December 2007, the full amount will then become payable and we will put the matter in the hands of our Debt Recovery Agents. We appreciate that this is not the outcome you will have hoped for.Unless you have any additional information that you have not already brought to our attention, this decision is final. Although further correspondence will be noted and filed, please do not expect any responce from us except where you have provided new evidence to substantiate your case. We hope you will take advantage of the extended 50% discount period and will send your remittance promptly. Well what do you think of that folks?
