Hello
Posting on behalf of a neighbour.
Back round is they use to run a business jointly with another person its a man and van service. the old joint owner, A, is now no longer living in the uk and as result the whole business is run by the other person, B, and his partner.
Problem.
A at the time owner and keeper of Van drove into the ULEZ area while doing a job. Neither of them noticed signs, covered in blankets and when checking the area online it said they would not be entering it but hey they did.
3 days later, A, left the country, this was planned, he claims he is not coming back. Now the problem is B has had a notice from TFL as he is now the owner and keeper of van. He can prove that the van was not his at the time. B is the owner of the van from the day before A left but was not registered to B until the day A left.Job was Wednesday A keeper of Van
B parked Van outside his home the Friday late evening around 11.30. I spoke to him and handed some parcels to him.
B registered the car via DVLA website and paid the tax on Van Saturday morning
A was driven to Heathrow by partner and l. We offered as the person who was going to do it could not we had to go to London any way and he is a friend.
A flight was 2 hours delayed so it really was Sunday before taking off
NTK is dated the Tuesday after job, eg job was the 1st NTK dated 7th.
Please Note B had already purchased Insurance a few days before.
B has tried to speak to TFL who dont care and just told him he has to pay up. B does not feel its fair to pay this charge. A has said Sod them they wont chase me here. I have printed off the tax confirmation and the bank statement for my neighbour and have photocopied the V5c as this is proof he did not own the van. Is there any more l need to make sure is printed off or copied.
He has a folder full of documents from previous owner so l am thinking of sending off a copy of the letter A got to say they have received confirmation of the van changing hands. As daughter dropped it off to Me the other week with the folder as neighbour was not in.
Now is he legally responsible for the charge and have l missed anything to copy for the neighbour.

Surely the gym should hold some type of record. it can prove you was there as you checked in.
-
Have you queried why these need doing so soon after the last lot. I only ask as my council landlord has said if good paint is used and applied properly then it should only need doing every 10 years. I live by he sea in fact the house has the sea winds and all types of sea dirt, eg salt sand etc, and it does not cause a problem.

I never said admitting the debt l said were they aware. did you tell them that your ill as if you did then you could tell the courts they have done this knowing your ill.
-
Tell the courts you have a terminal illness and due to the illness you can only afford XX a month. Also did the claimants/catalogue know abut this illness.

I hope the Copper room has lots of space for the filing cabinets.
None of this in anyway smells funny at all l mean 68 company's with only some dissolved.
-
Oh yes l am often sending bussiness emails and quotes while abroad. The last one l sent from my villa in the east while downing a nice cocktail. When in reality l was in my shed at home drinking cherries and berriea squash mixes with Lemonade.
Does anyone else smell that and see that pig with wings or have l had.one to many lemonades.

I know you might not be a expert but have you looked round the building at these works to see if they need doing, eg the security door broken and needs new keypad can you video if the security door is broken and needs a new keypad or is broken in any way eg a random number being typed in and it not letting you in then your actual number and it letting you in.
I know its not always easy to see but if they are claiming for work that dont need doing then it does raise suspicions
Also did your neighbour remember who done the work last time.

This person has been having fun with TVL since 2006.
Letters from BBC Television Licensing/intro
WWW.BBCTVLICENCE.COMI basically wrote to them telling them l will not be paying for the license as l did not need it. I do not accept anyone at my door without a appointment and l dont want to make a appointment with them and telling them l will consider that they have trespassed if they do tur up. Not had any license since 2007.

Contact the courts at Northampton and ask them. Seems strange but it happens.

How did Very destroy the item is there any proof of this destruction.
Can Apple provide any confirmation of its destruction.
Just a thought but have you tried contacting apple for All data re you including the watch -
I agree with Honeybee.
something seems odd especially when it needs doing so soon. Where do you live and what is the work break down and costs breakdown.

Any update on this Nothing from the OP since March

Well l dont think you need a Solicitor for a FOS claim against them. You never needed it as you already have a legal judgement just need it enforcing.
IMO a solicitor is a waste of Money. Just fill the paperwork yourself and pay the fee. Cant remember the form number but you might have to start with a N1 or the one which is called enforcing a judgement -
When was last payment or acknowledgement

Is that al pics wise

Are you in Scotland?

Well done. Different shops have different staff.
For customer service in future look at sainsburys. I know the CEO is the same.
-
well l call BS on how long it took to draft the application order and supporting statement and drafting the costs form.
-
Well done.
Dont lose that piece of paper.

Argos have never been good at customer services.
I brought a ps2 game from them as they were cheapest. the game case was very badly damaged and shrink wrap not on it. game could clearly be seen as lose in the case case had dirty shoe prints on it. Asked for a different one to be told l could not as l had damaged it. The bloke even said when he handed me it that the case was damaged and if l did not want it to say. l told him before he even gave me it.
after about 2 hours and me warning customers about the service they gave in and refunded me.
