  8. In December last year my partners mother decided to she didn't want her phone any more as she didn't use it that much so her son decided to take over the number this was done over the phone her account was cancelled and paid up as she had a new phone it was all paid off and received a letter saying the account was closed, partner received letter stating that he had taken over the number Since then he has been paying £48.50 a month seeing as he never uses the internet and has used his own phone not from vodaphone he rang up to get his bill reduced since then this is where it starts Have spent hours on the phone to them they keep on about his mothers contract well it closed have letter to prove that then its well you should have had a new contract for him so we were sent to the local shop 3 times by Vodaphone with promises of a phone call in the store to sort out with adviser did it happen no. have been promised numerious calls back never happen I have a PHOTO SHOT of the live chat telling him that when his mothers contract was cancelled he should have been given a new contract it just goes on and on. Now have been told that when you take over the number you take over the contract at no time was he told this on the phone they are saying that he is paying for his mothers phone but the account was closed and payed in full just gets worse going around in circles so he had to pay £48.50 month until December 2016 that is a lot of money to be paying. He has never signed anything so how can this contract be binding have letters saying he only took over the number Wrote to head office totally waste of time cant cancel as will cost him money have sent hours trying to sort this on the phone any one help please

  14. Thanks Andy Yes its the right case number and addressed correctly its not a mortgage arrears its a judgement for a credit card. Think i might contact local court to make sure they have all the paperwork and N245 we filled out just in case, Dont want to be caught out on this one. Thanks for your reply Pecky1
  15. Lost case against Nationwide they are going for a charging order filled out N245 paid the fee sent it off with what my hubby could afford received from swindown court in feb a letter from the judge saying that it would be transferred to our local court for enforcement for the hearing of the claimants interim charging order and the defendants application to vary the order. Have heard nothing this morning when another general form of judgement which now says sitting before the judge it is ordered that Applicaations adjourned generally with liberty to restore and if not resotored by the xx may 2012 they are both struck out. Can anyone tell me what that means as we have had nothing from anyone about this hearing and obviously we have sent a application to vary the order. If i dont respond to this will i have to do another N245 Any advice would be gratefull Pecky1
  16. Dont know about the deposit being protected will try and find that one out. Problem is that if council pay deposit when tenant leaves she should return deposit to council. But she could say that the place was left in a mess or needed repainting and then not pay the deposit back to the council and then they would chase my daughter to pay them back. This is why she is still going to have the house checked for dampness and explain this situation to the council and give them the whole picture of whats going on.
  17. Update I appreciate everyones different replies regarding the causes of damp and mould, we have found out from the previous tenant that was the reason that they moved because of the damp and mould on the walls. The house was painted before my daughter moved in. Also after Xmas when my grandson went back to school there was mould growing on the outside of his rucksack where it had been left in his bedroom!!!! Anyway Section 21 has now been given to my daughter came after she contacted the health people who are coming out at the end of the week (funny that) She has also made an appointment to see the housing officer next week. Letter from LL stating that due to DSS Tenants not making payments she is no longer accepting DSS Tenants in any of thier properties, my daughters rent is paid direct to the LL. Feeble excuse one would wonder. The problem is she could decide to keep the deposit that the council paid which means she couldnt use that for another property. When she meets the housing officer next week she is going to explain all this to them. Pecky 1
  18. Thankyou will keep you informed will pass that information you have given me on to her Pecky1
  19. Thanks for all your replies Spoke to my daughter today her tenency was for six months but the landlord as just rolled it over, When you walk into the house you can smell it. Have taken more photos today of her ceilings and walls and thier clothing covered in mould her pine units are also covered in mould in the bedrooms. Have passed on the information you have given me. After the bank holiday she is going to visit the council and request the enviromential officer to come and look at the house. She is also going to visit the doctor as they have all been suffering with colds and coughs, she is not so worried about being kicked out now as she will just sit there if she tries to evict them. As the council paid the deposit and are paying the rent direct to the landlord she is hoping that the council will respond. Thanks again Pecky1
  20. Will pass all this on later to my daughter thanks for your help Pecky1
  21. Yes she has a nine year old the past couple of nights they have all slept in the frontroom. And in his bedroom the mould is on the carpet under his bed which i have photos of and thier clothes that have all gone mouldy. Pecky1
