  9. for those still going after the banks given the waiver is due for renewal I think its the 26th January 2009 , might it be worth their while writing ot the OFT & FSA given the level of public money that has now gone into the banks to shore them up...... maybe if everone who is still persuing a bank claim wrote objecting to a further extension, it might carry some weight given the current climate:)

  15. Dear Sir/Madam With regards my claim for recovery of the charges, please note the following. No part of the of the Commercial Court proceedings between the OFT and the Defendant (and seven others) comprised in Claim No. 2007 Folio 1186. Has any bearing or will interact with or affect the common law basis of this claim. When I submit my court claim it will not be stayed. I am hoping that given the above you will settle this claim without the need for court action, as this will only add to my claim, the court will award the cost of bringing the action, plus 8% interest for every day till you settle, plus there will also be the question of wasted court costs. The figure in May was £1,019.00 that was comprised of £736 in charges and £282.08 in interest; this being the figure at 8% interest from the date the charge was levied. The figure of £736 plus £562.62 interest at 15.09% at 27/05/2008 totals £1298.62. The figure of £ t, 298.62 is as of today’s date is, plus 3 charges missed from the original list sent to you on the 27/05/2008 see attached list, bringing the total to £1,099.48. @ 8% and £1,403.71 If court action is instigated then there is the additional cost of the fee which is £75 at the moment as we have not applied all the interest. I am more than confident of winning in court, and my attempts to settle without taking that course will be show by my attempts to settle with you prior to instigating the court action. If there has been no response by the 13/09/2008 then you leave me no alternative but to instigate a court claim. Please consider this my letter before action. Receipt of £1,403.71 will result in my acceptance and no further action from me I await your response here is the letter I sent them. all you have to do is copy it and delete my figures and enter your own..... and you can have a copy of my poc as well if you wish......
  16. update on the credit card claim.......the warrant has been issued and was sent to Nottingham last week and is with the bailiffs as I type and according to the court they will be calling in sometime int he next 2 weeks..... and the wasted court cost claim is going in tomorrow. despite being given judgement and them being aware that it its with the bailiffs they have still failed ot pay in full....:D
