  1. Hi Scorpio Good luck with your case... I do hope that the judges can sort something out for you as September seems such a long way off and I would imagine like everyone else you just want your money and the sooner the better! It will be a very interesting case with you having 'employment history' with them ..... I'm sure you'll be able to use it to your advantage!! I'm claiming a similar amount to you and I've had a similar list of events. Just waiting on court date now although I've been transferred from Wakefield Court to Leeds Court so I'm hoping I may end up at 'Mercantile' which will be brilliant news.... I'll keep an eye on your thread - Good Luck !! Regards Scoobz
  2. Hi Gary As promised I've posted the T&C's from 2001 to you so you should get them tomoz (1st Class snail mail).... Regards Scoobz
  3. Hi Peeps Started my claim with A & L mid March 2007 using templates from a BBC article on line as an 'estimated' claim (£5000) as I only had last 3 years statements. I got the usual fob off letter from A & L so proceeded with N1 claim which I filed with my local county court on 13th April 2007. Wragge & co acknowledged my claim and then sent their usual 'Defence'. I then discovered Martin Lewis's site and CAG and after hours of reading I discovered that 'estimated' claims were not a good idea so I paid £35 to have my claim amended with court (form N244) and changed my claim amount to tie in with the statements I had (£3700) and also amended my Particulars of Claim (using the template from here). Opened a parachute account and sent off S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter to A & L. Wragge & Co filed their AQ with court and I filed mine on 19th May 2007 and now I'm just waiting for my court date... I've just received my statements from A & L so I've now worked out my charges for the other 3 years which takes my total claim for the full 6 years back up to £4900. I spoke to my local court and they said I could sill apply to have my claim amount amended as long as it doesn't go over £5000 (next bracket). I know I'll have to pay £35 again and fill out the N244 form again but it will be worth it and alot cheaper than starting a new claim. Just wondered if there are any other peeps who have filed their claims with Wakefield C C as I've heard from staff there that they have been transfering cases to Leeds ??
