  1. Mortgage offer in post. Valued it at asking price
  2. Hi Colin. That's what I thought but just wondered is all. That happened to previous buyers 5 months ago. Valuation came in under £10k less than what they had bought for. Buyer pulled out as seller wouldn't budge. Hoping since then even if it's £5k less we can sort something out. £10k is a fair deficit to make up really. Thanks.
  3. Also guys what happens if say surveyors value house at less than what we agreed for with regards to the mortgage? Would natwest need to re submit the mortgage and start again or adjust the mortgage amount?? Thanks
  4. Touching that lucky wood. Thanks Colin.
  5. Ok thanks a lot Colin, just first house and mrs is preggers so its important to get a house before shes due. Thanks all.
  6. Yeah Colin, mine is much younger though, almost 2 years old. Lucky for me and yourself then. Dook there will be no subsidence and one was done before we know of only reason it fell out was because the survey 3 months ago put it t 10k below what they where buying it for. Only reason i asked was we put applications into halifax and natwest at the same time, halifax rejected us so would this show up before they do that second credit search? I know it takes a month to update so I'm hoping this wont show on report before this. Thanks
  7. Thanks buddy, think we got it by a mistake but hey ho lol Posted in natwest part now as wondered what happens from there. Thanks
  8. Hi all, Long story short, applied for a mortgage with Halifax and Natwest, but due to a default thought it would be impossible. Halifax turned us down point blank due to late payments and the default and with the new rules for mortgages credit went from A+ or something to a C+. Anyway Natwest have accepted us and arranged for a survey to be done. Which is getting done next Friday. Which is great. What happens after this? Is there anything that could be done so they decline it? Just after best and worse case scenario really Thanks all
  9. Getting defaults removed is impossible but not impossible. I tried to get Next to remove one and no chance. Looks same year as mine where, so come 2018 they'll drop off. Get them satisifed by paying them off. Next best thing.
  10. Ok well given up on next but thanks for the advice guys. Got natwest to give me and the partner a mortgage agreement and the survey is being done next friday
  11. I only tried to get it removed as trying for a mortgage as partner is due a baby in july and wanted to be settled somewhere before its born. The default was due to lack of work and I did try to pay something but at times I couldn't, then they sold it to lowell who in the short story where as unhelpful as you can imagine. Fell behind with trying to pay as times where hard and that was it really. struggled. So in other words I'm done and there's nothing I could look into or get done? Strange as Next first said to me till blue in the face that they didn't give me the default. Now with this SAR I assume they indeed did? Thanks all
  12. Hello Citizen, Thank you for that info. Now how exactly would I go about doing that? Is there a template or similar that I could send to fight this and maybe get the default overturned. I did order the goods online not sure if this makes a difference.
  13. Hi all, As suggested by other members of here I am trying to get a default removed if possible that Next has set on me back in 2012, even though at first they denied it. I have tried all the begging letters without success and I'm hoping that from the contained SAR info that something is a miss. I have noticed that the debt collection department letter and the signed credit agreement letter are for different address's, this change anything? Also as you can see I haven't signed anything and NExt state that they're not obliged to provide a copy either?!?! Any advice and help as what to do next would muchly appreciated Thanks in advance
  14. Been reading into it on here in other sections and it seem's there is a way of making them prove they have a CCA and prove of the notice of default, this I will look into very much. I m drafting a letter now to send tomorrow.
