  4. hi all. the date has now been set for 17th january. will let you know how it goes. also yes ive had the baby. little boy. called him preston. he will be 4months old next week.
  5. hi there. well the trial date was set for 17th october. but we had a phone call on the 16th to say it had been taken out of court on the 17th as they had an ongoing trial. no date has been set since. i really hope they throw it for good. we just want to move on with our lives but cant until this is all sorted.
  6. id gone overdrawn in the bank and one evening a bailff came to our home and demanded 4bank cards off me and cheque books. i gave him the books and the 1 card i had. he ripped the book up and snapped the card. he then demanded the other 3. i explained i never had them and that natwest were aware of this. he then pushed me into the wall and said he would look himself! what he didnt know was that my partner was there and had just seen him push me. my partner told him to get out and escorted him out of our flat. when we got back into the flat the bailiff had dropped the cheques on the floor. now HE is accusing my partner of taking them off him and my partner is up on a robbery charge!!!! for pieces of paper the bloke dropped! how ridiculous is that? anyway ill let u all know how we get on.
  7. for those of u who remember the thread me and my partner started at the beginning of the year i thought id let u know whats happening now. the court date has been set for 17th of october. not long now. im so scared. scared of giving my evidence scared of seeing that bailiff again but most of all scared that the jury will believe his lies and that my partner will be sent down. i gave birth 5weeks ago and dont want my baby to be apart from his dad. i know my partner is really worried but nothing i seem to say or do helps him. ill let u know how we get on. thanks everyone for ur help and support with this.
  8. natwest have to be worst for bank charges. im due to start a claim to get back over £2000. i wont give up until ive got it. natwest is a disgrace and i would not recommend them to anyone.
  9. ive received court papers in post in relation to ge capital. basically need some help filling it in. i need to defend part of it as im not paying their charges or court fees / solicitors fees. ive sent them a number of letters asking for statements. i received a letter off viking saying that they had been ordered and if ive not received them to contact them again which i did but i didnt receive them - or so i thought. i changed my address with them about 7months ago, and they know that as all the defaults have been sent to my new address. my mum came to visit me a few weeks ago ( she lives 400miles away) and they had sent the statements to the old address!!! plus i asked for nearly 4years worth of statements - they sent 5months worth. can i do them for breach of dat protection act for sending them to wrong address? they were fully awaren thats an old address. need to get these forms off straight away to the court - can anyone help me?
  10. well my partners trial date has been set. im so scared. i hope they can see we are the innocent victims. what if he gets sent down? im so worried and i know he is to but he wont open up. will let you know how things go.
  11. received letter and statements off bank 2day. they say they will not be looking into the assault as the agents statement is different to mine!!!! well obviously he isn't going to put in his statement ' oh and i pushed sum1 while i was at the flat' . i am so mad at them but will not be leaving it there. i opened my account in sept 02 so wanted statements from then till now. they sent them from oct 02 till feb 06. im not bothered about the sept 02 as i know there is no charges. ive calculated the rest and it totals £2449. they have charged interest as £112 for sum months - am i able to claim that back? good luck all will be in touch soon.
  12. quick update - sent natwest a letter saying i will be taking them to court. received a letter saying thanks for letting them know about my concerns and they will be in touch in 10days. 10days later i receive another letter saying they need another 10days to get the full details. time is running out for them.
  13. i rung up natwest visa this morning for my duplicate statements from 2003 to 2006. i was told i'd have to pay a fee. i said that wasn't a problem - until she said how much! they want to charge me £87 for them. i laughed when she said that, couldn't beleive how ridiculous they are. anyway i got put thru to a supervisor - arrogant b***h. told her im not paying that, she said that if i dont pay it i wont get my statements. her attitude was disgusting so will be putting a complaint in about her. where do i go from here? basically i wont get my statements unless i pay that fee.
  14. hi thanks for that - glad you sorted them out. i was looking thru my paper work yday and found that b4 they put all the late charges etc onto me i owed them £35.11, now its gone upto £97. also found out that they are not allowed to charge such ridiculous amounts for admin fees. so the £35 i paid for that i will take off the original price and send them 11p in the post. see how they like that. i may stretch to £1.11, put y should i pay £35 just to change over address!!! no way. good luck to u all
