I've submitted my AQ in on Tuesday and forwarded a copy to Abbey but then got an email of Ronan from Abbey saying they would accept my offer of settlement of £1,000 . I don't want to get to excited as I haven't got the cash yet but fingers X'd. Has anyone had any success with Ronan and how many days does it take to receive the cash.

Thanks So how would I amend the total I am claiming, basically Abbey offered £600 ,my claim was £1,711.00. The offer was made a couple of days after the N1 was completed and submitted at my local court. Is it best just to note a credit of £600 at the bottom of my spreadsheet when putting my bundle together, I'm confused as all my submitted paperwork has £1,711.00 but it's actually £1,111.00 at present.

I was looking back through all the correspondence between myself and shabbey and noticed that when I accepted around 30% of my total claim as part payment I copied a letter to the court (as I already completed the N1 at that stage) saying I accept without prejudice and will continue with the claim for the full amount. Should I have done that cos later I realised that you can't use letter's marked without prejudice in court. What's the best way round this ?

AQ asks for another £100 but I completed the exemption form when I completed the N1 form ,will this stand or do I have to complete another form for the AQ. Is there a pdf version I can use?

Apologies for the above, I've got a good idea after reading the first 4 pages of this thread, (I'll consider my wrist slapped for not reading first) but still got one question , can I use the pdf version and copy and paste the relevant bits and then print it and do a couple of copies.

I've received an AQ a few days after receiving abbey's defence, I immediately sent a request for further info using the CPR Part 18. Can anyone please confirm what I should send along with the AQ and also I filled a form to be exempt from payment when filling N1 form, do I have to fill another for the AQ or do I attach a copy of my benefit letter. Any advise is highly appreciated at this crucial stage

AQ Stage I received a copy of Abbey's defence and a letter offering me 65% , I've refused and sent a letter asking for further info under the CPR Part 18, but 2 days later I've now received Abbey's defence and AQ from the local court. Do I just send the AQ before the 14th July (deadline) what do I do with the CPR part 18 request(don't expect a response). Also can I send a letter back with the AQ to the court asking the judge to resolve matter without a hearing as Abbey are just playing mind games and they won't attend court?anyone please advise.....getting to the serious bit now,

I'm in the process of trying to getting back my charges from HSBC and sent the LBA letter , I'm assuming I won't get a response. Should I refer the matter to FOS next week or wait the full 8 weeks before logging a complaint
