Hi Guys, Just been reading through all your posts and have decided to do a PRELIM letter to GE Money. Myself and my husband took out a secured loan on our house with these people when they were known as I Group, what a big mistake that was!! We have been paying interest for the past 3 years and haven't paid anything off the capital! We have loads of charges totaling about £800 for late payments and arrears, as you know they charge £40 a time. Do you think I will be able to get these charges back? Also we are hoping to be able to settle this loan soon but GE are going to charge us £3,000 redemption penalty for settleing early? Can I get this back too?? Thanks for your help everyone Juicy

Hi Boy, I see that I Group settled for £500, did you accept that? I am really worried about sending my 2nd letter, I don't have to send the 1st one as they have told me what my charges total over the phone so am gonna go straight ahead with my 2nd letter. Also forgot to tell you that u want a beakdown of the charges..Ie bailliff costs, attendance to remove. and intial fine...i lay my house on the line that they have charged you what they call 3rd infocement. which they are saying they have been to your address 3 time so the cost goes up ( more commission). So if this is the case ask why u have had not any hand delivered bailiff letters.Also check the Bailiffs name with the courts to make sure he had a up to date cert..

my husband says that they can only enter premisis that is shown on the warrent of execution. And as this was a parking offence then it would of been the home address that the car is registerd and not the place of work. So they must have spoke to neighbours to find out where she worked or even followed her..

Hi Guys, I just need a bit of advice really!! We took out a second charge on our house 2 years ago. I found out today that for the past 2 years we have been paying mainly interest and nothing off the capital! We requested a Settlement figure and this is actually higher than the original amount we borrowed!!! I have a statement of charges arriving within the next couple of days which totals about 500.00. We were going to pay this loan off after Xmas and so asked for a Settlement figure. They rekon they are charging us 2,300.00 redemption fee on top of the settlement figure. Is there anyway I can get out of paying this or what letter should I send to them? Or do I have to pay it first and then fight them?? Please help me Thanks Juicy

Hi Guys, I have been refused data from Barclaycard from before May 04'. They have sent me statements from May 04' to present but will not send my statements from before this date. Can you let me know what I should do? Should I send a 7 day Letter Before Action? If so is this in the Bank Templates as I couldn't find it. Thanks Juicy
