Hi everyone. Great site. To be honest i have been putting this off but after reading about the success stories i am raring to go. I ran a successful business for about 6 years but due to a bad debt i ran into some personal financial difficulty. I banked with HSBC for 12 years and had an Overdraft of £1500 and a credit card with £4k limit. To cut a long story short i started getting lots of charges when things were tight and they eventually closed my accounts and got CCJs against me. I remortgaged my house and paid the credit card debt off as they had a charging order put on my house. I still owe £1800 from the current account of which i am paying £100 a month to clear. I would not have been in this situation if they had not posted excessive charges to my account. Can i still claim even though the accounts are now closed? I have a child on the way now and if i could get anything back it would be a great help. Anyway i have a joint account which i use now with NATWEST and i have had a lot of charges from these also but i dont think my credit rating will allow me to get another account with the facilities i currently have so my question is if i go for these as well will they shut my account down. (Also have a business account with them). Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Best of luck to everyone.
