  1. Yes it is a completely diff address. However that is clearly stated on the LOA and authorized by the card holder.
  2. Can anyone else offer advice please?
  3. I guess so ... it's just easier to have a response sent to me directly. Here's what their letter said: "Re your letter re the charges on .... cr card. I note your signed letter of authority. However I'm unable to proceed with the claim on this occasion. In order for me to investigate we'd require you to set up a Lasting Power of Attorney through a Solicitor, enabling you to act on ... acct. Once we have this in place please forward a solicitor certified copy to us in order to update our files." Surely the LOA will do ... I've not heard of this requirement. Any help on this please?
  4. Hello, I am looking at a relatives credit card charges with Tesco & they sent a sheet of charges and dates. I put a claim letter together with a signed LOA from the cardholder. I have had a reply saying they will on look at the claim if i have Power of Attorney and a letter from a solicitor signed by the cardholder. Is this some sort of delay tactic? and do I require this?

  7. Hello, A family friend undertook a huge loan with Nemo for 44k in 2007 and had 12k:jaw: of ppi front ended to it!! So they are investigating the chances of clawing back the ppi and received a letter from Nemo stating the following: "I confirm after checking our records that the loan and ppi was arranged by a broker with Nemo acting as the lender. Central Capital made the arrangements, responsibility for investigating the complaint rests with them and I have forwarded your complaint to them at this address: Central Trust plc, St Crispin House, Duke St, Norwich, NR3 1PD I sort of get the feeling that they are passing the buck here. Has anyone out there in forum land had any dealings with either Nemo or Central Trust:???:. This looks like being a battle which could end up at the door of the FOS. Your thoughts and guidance would be appreciated here please ... Thanks vm
  8. Hello, do you have any updated on your situation here?

  10. Did anyone have success reclaiming from Nemo?
  11. Hello all, A family friend has a rather large overdraft of 50k outstanding with NatWest. Relations have turned sour and they have complained to the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) etc. This "in dispute" account has already received acknowledgment from the FOS and awaits investigation of complaint. In the meantime a call has come in from Allied International Credit purporting to be acting on behalf of NatWest. They have made an incredible offer to accept just 50% of the outstanding overdraft. That's a 25k drop. They say then that the credit reference agencies will have a reported account as "partially settled" and the matter will be closed. I find this too good to be true. Not only that there is nothing in writing either. Has anyone out there ever had dealings with this outfit (AIC) or can offer suggestion/advice to help. Many thanks!

  18. Hi, online it is. My claim is under 5k. I have email correspondence & a promise to pay by email also. Is is still necessary to send a RD notice out? Can you help with the wording or is there a template where I could fill in the gaps etc. I should not let them 'get away' with not paying the o/s balance.
  19. Hello, I provide accounting services for a business and have only been paid 25% so far for my services. The issue has been o/s since Oct 2009 and despite giving 5 or 6 notices in writing I've yet to receive the balance of payment. I do have email replies admiting the money is owed but to date nothing. Can I issue an online claim or what's best please?
