  1. sdys15453 there is housing benefit caselaw that allows a Local Authority to treat uni students as occupiers for HB size criteria on their parents' HB award so as long as kids come back home in their holidays, you may be able to avoid the bedroom cap, assuming your house is 2 or 3 bedroom http://www.administrativeappeals.tribunals.gov.uk/aspx/view.aspx?id=2953 children who spend a lot of time in hospital are also still treated as members of household, so should not be affected, as long as child is not permanently in hospital

  4. Hi To start with we do know that Barclays hold data beyond six years ago but they try and wriggle out of providing it under a SAR request. If they actually don't have the data then it would not be unreasonable fro fos to instruct them to make the best estimate of what would have been the case by extrapolating back from known information. I would wait for the offer letter from Barclaycard and if you wish you can require them to provide a detailed breakdown of how they arrived at their figure. From then on you will have to make a decision as to whether you accept or challenge it.

  5. I'd leave the appeal standing. I do hope you get a new office!

  6. You have posted a query on the PRIVATE PARKING part of the forum when it would seem that your query would be for LOCAL AUTHORITY issued tickets. The good news is that you can make an "informal representation" to the local authority and explain the matter of the missing keys. If rejected, wait to receive the Notice to Owner and make Formal Representation.

  7. If theft/loss was reported to police and you got a reference number, then I suspect good chance of winning an appeal. You sure you have a Crime Reference Number, and not a Lost Property Reference Number? Might be significant.

  8. There are various ways to get around the signature thing. It's more likely to be a delaying/obstructing tactic than an attempt to get a useable signature, but I wouldn't trust Capquest anyway.- sign over a row of large 'X's printed in bold - sign over the date printed in bold
