This seems to be a yearly thing, lets send you a letter claiming you owe the following amount for an overdue accout.

 

I have followed all the guidance for requesting a copy of the original agreement and Notice of assignment adding without prejudice and I do not ackowledge any debt and have never heard anything back from them.

 

I believe the account is Statue Barred due to not being on any credit file.

 

Now seeing that its a year since any letters from them they have sent the following letter to a neighbours address who has put it through my letter box, any help would be appreciated.

It 'MAY' involve applying for a County Court Jugement.

'IF successful we will apply to court to enforce this judgement.

On the other hand our legal dept might just make a paper aeroplane out of it.

Not even worth a reply, they obiously fishing to see if you still live there by sending to the the neighbours.

Report them to the OFT and Trading standards, they are already under investigation for this kind a practice

If they didn't supply a CCA in response to your earlier request they are unable to proceed with any action to enforce the debt.

If they put your name and your nieghbours address on the letter, I would contact the OFT and Trading standards and also complain to lowlifes.

 

this is just another threa-o-gram as without a valid CCA they can do bu**er all.

Perhaps we should start sending strongly worded/critical letters to a DCA but put another DCA's address on front of the envelope - see how they like it

As well as making the complaints already suggested, make sure you ask Clownell for a copy of their formal complaints procedure. This could result in them being investigated by the FOS which will cost them £450.
