You shoujld go to the court on Tuesday and obtain a warrant of execution in order to put the bailiffs in at your local branch.

 

There will be a fee for this but this will be recoverable by the bailiffs on your behalf.

Get it going as quickly as possible. there may be an appication to setaside but I don't really see how they can succeed on this. The court will be well aware that in that case the bank will be seeking a stay and has no intention to defend"

this is good news becci,

i think it's 14 days you have to wait from the date of the judgment - then you can get the warrant of execution - check that with your court. just ring and ask how soon you can file the warrant of execution soon as you get the paperwork.

How to enforce a Judgement. for when the judgment is ok'd you will want to do the warrant of enforcement quickly.

 

don't notify dg - they will already be notified by the court - and act quickly - as soon as the court allows - dg will most likely try for a set aside - but you should be ok - just move as soon as the court tells you you can.

dunno - it is a bit muddled - that's why i said ring the court - let them guide you through it - just be ready to act -

the bailiffs get paid for their effort - that too comes from the defendant so they get it any way they need to.
