Hi,

My mother in law mentione dot me that everytime she goes into her agreed overdraft of £200, even if it only £1, she gets charged a £5 overdraft fee everytime as well as interest on it. Is this something that can be claimed back or not?????

Any help would be appreciated.

Successfully beat LloydsTSB for £900 and Abbey National for £650, now taking on Barclays for my wife which is roughly £700.

I would like to know this as well... I'm in the process of claiming back my charges and could do with knowing if I can claim this back (I have 6 years of £5 a month charges as I basically live in my overdraft).

I'm not sure if this is a service charge for using the service or a

'fine' for being overdrawn.

Could someone please clarify?
