I have phoned the court this morning and was told on the phone that the case was stayed yesterday as there had been no response by the applicant.

Should I expect them to ask the court to reverse this and proceed?

Would it be worth sending AG a SB letter now at this point to make sure I'm not further harassed on this matter?

No time limit but the longer they delay the stronger the grounds they need to justify.

They will go ahead only if they think they have right paperwork, including evidence that it's not statute barred.

You need do precisely nothing unless / until they resurrect.

Just for your info.

Statute barred timescale is paused when a claim is issued and will remain paused whilst the claim is stayed.

I have only found this out recently, believing that a couple of my CC's would become SB this year. However in my case they were both stayed a few years ago so it would be difficult for the claimants to justify to a court, why they have left it so long to request the stay to be lifted.
