Phone the Police to report the car being stolen. It belongs to the loan company and only if the bailiff is acting on behalf of the loan company, can they take the car.

If you bought the car with existing finance, then the loan company who own the car have the right to take a car, but I would have thought they would need a court warrant to do this.

We could do with some help from you.

they are acting on behalf of mobile money

Is this your log book loan you have not made payments due ?

Or is this a log book loan from the previous owner ?

The bailiffs need to provide paperwork that confirms that they have legal authority to take the car or you phone 999 to report to Police your car is being stolen.

We could do with some help from you.

previous owner

They need to show you court paperwork to take the car, otherwise there is no legal authority. If they can't show you this, then call the Police.

Apparently they don't need a court order, which sounds a bit odd to me. Here is a newspaper article about people who have faced this situation. Basically the previous owner sold you a car they did not own and you may need to take action against the previous owner to recover your money.

bet they are NOT BAILIFFS

but simply a no power repo company

they have no legal powers to take anything

esp if its on PRIVATE PROPERTY

on the road you MIGHT NOT be able to prevent it

on YOUR LAND you can regardless

is this to do with your other threads on mobile money?

how do you know the BOS is valid?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

They must have and show you the BOS. They do not need a court order

Unless (very rare) the BOS is linked to an hp agreement

Your redress would be to claim from the seller or

Keep the car locked away and negotiate with the LBL co
