Got an AEO form in the post for a lowell claim i know nowt about! - help

Hi I am new here and also getting very stressed I hope for a little advice and thank anyone for their assistance

 

I have received a envelope (unadressed n no stamp)

 

inside is a form for attached earnings (v.125) with a compliment slip of a hm courts and tribunal service

stating I must reply within two days to prevent court proceedings

 

 

case number is for Lowell whom I have no idea are,

 

 

I have looked at experian and there seems to be a lowell portfolio attached to a debt from 2001,

 

 

someone has told me to send a letter to request consumer agreement

and also statue barred (which I am not sure what this is)

 

could someone please provide me with any advice I should take to proceed on this situation

Is there no CCJ listed on your credit file?

 

 

login to www.trustonline.org.uk

 

 

and find out about the CCJ number

 

 

then ring the court quoting the number and ask for a copy of the CCJ

Hi welcome.What is the Return Address for this v.125 form?

 

Apart from Lowell who are debt purchasers,who is the debt with,bank,credit card etc etc,are you aware of the debt?

 

When you checked with Experian and found Lowell,who does it say the debt was originally with.

 

At this point do not contact Lowell as it depends much on who the debt was with and when you last contacted the Original Creditor,or paid any money to them??

 

Sorry lots of questions at this stage

Never heard of a V.125 is it not a N56 ?

Hi Thank you for taking the time

 

the return address seems to be the local court, like i said it was an un written envelope just posted by hand through my door, there is no post address on the form

just a comp slip from the courts (not very official looking though)

 

I have checked Experian and found lowell but the only thing it says next to it is credit card/ store card, so I have no idea what this is about also on experian it states the following

started ; 19/11/2001

default date 15/03/2012

 

on the V.125 form at the bottom right it has produced by K Burley, which gives me reason to think this is just a print out rather than an official document

 

im just confused as to what I do next

yes it is an N56 as this is on the lower right of the page, the v1.25 is on the left footer

Look at the top right of the form...this lists the Court that issued the judgment and the claim number...you need to move quickly to find out what the judgement is for and if you disagree with it make application to set a side the judgment and defend.

 

Then move to no 10 on the N56 you state a reason to suspend...assuming you are going to set a side..this will be your reason.

 

You need to move fast I think you only have 8 days to complete and return the N56.

The Court just attached compliment slips instead of full letters all the time.

 

I wouldn't read too much into it.

 

Call the Court to clarify if you have any questions.
