Hi,

I sent a CCA request to Capquest in Aug 2013.

They forwarded it to Littlewoods and told me as soon as they will get a reply from LW they will let me know.

Since than there is no reply and I have sent them account in dispute letter in October 2013.

They did not responded.

I continue to pay them token money of £1 until last month.

Now I have stopped this payment as I have not received any CCA from them yet.

Have I made a right thing or shall I continue to pay them?

As, I have stopped paying them what shall be next move?

Please guide.

We would need to know a little more about the actual debt in order to advise.

When did you first enter into the agreement ?

There will not be a CCA as such as catalogue companies didnt get signatures on contracts.

On my Credit file Crapquest are entering a default for past 4 months. This is the reason I stopped the payment. What is the point of paying them even if they have to enter the default then let them do this without paying them.

What would you say about this? Or shall I continue to pay them?

How was this account opened, magazine/newspaper advertisement which was common in the 90s?

When did Capquest acquire the debt? Ii is usual for these accounts to be defaulted prior to sale the Capquest will just up date the CRA files.

I do not remember how this was opened most probably, I received a catalogue at door and from there it happened in 1999 . 98

C Q got it in July 2013.

As I have said I have stopped token payment is this OK or shall I continue this payment?

Capquest are entering a default in my CR file on monthly basis but not sending me any notifications at all. Is this legally correct? Please guide.
