Hi,

Have you ever done a SORN or recently sold or scrapped a vehicle?

Or forgot to do a SORN or notify the DVLA that you have sold or scrapped a vehicle?

The reason I ask the above is that Advantis have been appointed the DCA for collecting DVLA fines for failure to SORN etc.

The Advantis press release is here... http://www.advantiscredit.com/latestNewsDetails14.aspx

It is not your job to notify Advantis of your personal details, do not ring them and if they ring say "in writing only" and hang up, never go through their stupid DPA questions.

Eventually, Advantis will write with a proper letter, when you receive this, please update the thread.

didnt hit the space bar hard enough

NEVER telephone a DCA

If a DCA rings you, refuse to go through the security questions & hang up!

If I have helped you, click on the star & say thank you

and the only person EVER to pay is the DVLA IF IF IF you owe this

never ever pay a DCA on a DVLA 'debt'

they have NO LEGAL POWERS in this instance.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
