I've been offered the following by a mobile reseller, on a £15 SIM-only, non contract, pay as you go deal:

- Unlimited calls to all networks at all times

- Unlimited texting

- 1 gig of internet usage

- Vodaphone network

I am tempted to go ahead, but does anyone know of any better non-contract SIM-only packages?

Thanks,

Jeff

GiffGaff goodybags have more data if that's what you're looking for, they use the o2 network

Data tethering I think 3 are about the best on PAYG

Keep in mind SIM Only and PAYG can be separate things... SIM Only commonly has a contract with a minimum term, just no handset... it can also effect your credit history if you don't pay it. Read the T & C

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.

Click here if you fancy an email address that shows you mean business! (only £6 and that will really help CAG)

If you can't donate, please use the Internet Search boxes on the CAG pages - these will generate a small but regular income for the site

Virgin are offering a £15 a month sim only deal with unlimited everything, well that's what the were pushing at me the other night because I was such a loyal customer, the word gullible comes to mind.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

If in doubt, you should seek the opinion of a Qualified Professional.

Thanks guys.

maroondevo52 - I'd be wary of the Virgin package. I went to the checkout page, and it said the following:

'Unlimited calls to Virgin Mobile numbers , Unlimited minutes , Unlimited texts , Unlimited texts to Virgin Mobile numbers and Unlimited Mobile Web'

Hi Jef,

Yes I told her I knew no one with a Virgin mobile so unlimited calls to Virgin Mobile numbers was no good to me. Also told her I'm on contract with Vodafone

for another 12 months.

Didn't stop her phoning me again.

Told her my reward for being such a loyal customer was to get bombarded with calls trying to sell me more guff :)

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)
