Good morning everybody

Hope you are all well and your usual fabulous selves

In May 2011 I purchased a suite from CSL and it has ripped at the back of the chair,

underneath the place where you put your back so its hidden,

i rang the Castelan people and they sent out an assessor who said it was manufacturing fault,

I contact CSL and they sent out an service manager who has said it is not a manufacturing fault but its accidental damage.

Please note I have no idea how the damaged happened, because you can't see it!!!

SO - I have a letter from CSL and another from Castelan both saying the exact opposite!!!!

What to do?

Its confused me!!!!

cant see why if you have a report it is not a SOGA issue

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

SOGA is the sale of goods act - it is a piece of consumer legislation that states that goods must be of a satisfactory standard. This includes being for for the purpose, free from manufacturing defects and reasonably durable.

If you have evidence that the damage was caused by a manufacturing defect then the SOGA essentially states that you can claim the cost of repair from the business you bought it from or ask them to repair it.
