A very basic question here (hopefully):

I am considering legal action (small claims) against a company.Yesterday,I received an email from them, the contents of which will be very helpful to my case.A minute later,I received another email entitled "Recall" & the message said that they would like to recall the original message.

I do not understand what this means. Can I:

1) Respond to the message asking explanation of its contents?

2)Use the message in any future court proceedings

Any advice will be appreciated-I've not had any experience with emailing on a professional level.

useful for your case = print it and file it, maybe they think you are a very nice person and forgive them,,??

how about giving more info so peeps can respond, but if the e-mail gives you ammo then do nothing and just keep for your own use\/

Thanks Mike

The issue is with a bailiff company whom I claim have made illegal/irregular charges in their collection of overdue council tax.

I wish to respond to the mail as they have (IMO) put their foot in it so to speak & I want them to develop their comments

& I am a nice person BTW

Well they sent the email, so you are free to reply and use it as you wish. They may just say that it was sent in error and they sent another email to advise this.

As with all such matters, it is only if it went before a Judge that all this would be decided.

We could do with some help from you.

Thanks-I'll respond shortly to them & let a Judge make a decision if it gets that far.I have also printed the mail off and filed it.
