Wonga £200 - Was £350.. Paying £10 a week.

QuickQuid £80 - Was about £200..Paying £25 a week.

PaydayUK £130 - Due today after deffering twice

Payday Express £150 - Due last week after deffering twice

Also Mini Credit and Toothfairy Finance but I'm not dealing with them as they claim I owe £700-£900 after one month.. I sent complaint letters but I'm sure you're all aware of how they work so I'm not worrrying about them.

Also I owe my mum about £350 from various things, which she knows I will pay back when I get a decent job but I can't borrow anymore as she hasn't got much money.

So I owe all of that and I have nothing.. like £2 to my name lol. My Lloyds bank is -£40. I have a phone bill due at the end of the month. I have no job.

It was going well paying back Wonga and QuickQuid but now I don't have a job I am struggling.

Even before I struggled as my pub job was only giving me 9 hours a week so I was getting like £50.

Thing is, I didn't get fired I quit.. But with good reason. The last thing I wanted to do was quit.. I'm going through depression and my dad has been in hospital for over a year (brain injury, kidney problems, breathing problems) So it's all been a bit crazy. Anyway I was at work and this man kept harrassing me and called me some very nasty names, the other one was trying to grab me.. My boss did nothing and that's when I had enough, I couldn't stay there any longer, I was crying so much as I desperately need a job but I guess no one will understand as they didn't go through what I did..

I don't think I am entitled to jobseekers allowance as I quit.. I didn't get fired. My ex boss won't write me a letter or anything as he doesn't like me now and will say it's my fault (I slapped the guy lightly after he called me a fat sl*g) This was after work when it happened, not when I was working.

So basically as I chose to quit I'm not entitled to jobseekers allowance. I am looking for jobs though.. I am going later to a bar to speak with them about a job.. I'm looking everyday.

Even if I kept my job I would still have all this debt, the only things that would be getting paid weekly would be Wonga and QuickQuid, so really not much has changed apart from before I was getting £40-£50 a week and now nothing. I have no one that can lend me money, Can't take out any more loans or anything. I've also got things to buy like public transport for job interviews, black shoes for job interviews that would only cost like £10. It's hard having literally no money.

I'm so lost at what to do.. I can't get one of those crisis loans I don't think, and I need money urgently not in 3 months!

Need advice!

Hi look at it this way these are all unsecured low priority debts, are you receiving any benefits at all?

Wow! You're really going through it at the moment!

You've done the right thing coming here!

First things first, get in touch with the job centre! You may be able to claim something! Regardless, you need to put a claim in at least. I'm no benefits expert but I think they measure each case individually, you sound like you had cause to resign from employment like that.

As for the debts, as much as I admire you for paying these payday loans off and reaching agreements with them to pay on installments as Brigadier has said, they really are low priority! With NO income they really are the least of your problems at the moment.

Make that call to the job centre! It's been a long time since I was on the "rock n roll" but I'm sure I got something after quitting a job... Think it was called hardship allowance. I quit for different circumstances and although I had to wait a while for full JSA I still got a little giro every couple of weeks!

Keep us updated on how you're getting on.

I'd also suggest emailing all the above and telling them that you are receiving NO income so at the moment you can't even afford a token payment, then when you get sorted with some cash offer them £1 a month until you're back on your feet.

It never rains but it pours...

You'll probably have to write a letter to the Job Centre after you've signed on telling them exactly why you quit. Make it plain it was due to harrassment.Very likely they'll tell you at first you aren't due any money and at first you probably won't be but if they can be persuaded that you were genuinely forced to leave then you may well get JSA backdated to when you first signed on.You should get JSA one day anyway so it's important you sign on as soon as you can, which means today!

Thanks for the help, I'm receiving no benefits at all. Like no income, no money.. I can get away with borrowing £5 or £10 off my mum for something important but that's it.

My ex boss is very rude and would not help me at all, I don't particulary want jobseekers to contact him.

I desperately want a job though as I would hopefully earn more.. I know they are low priority but I was glad I could pay back at least two weekly.. Wonga and QuickQuid were quite helpful and even when I missed payments they were fine but now I'm stuck in a rut! Payday Express are no help, keep telling me to defer it everytime and I can't even afford to do that anymore, they said they need proof I haven't got a job.. but I don't know how to get it as I'm not talking to my ex boss and I used to get paid weekly cash in hand. I don't know if I was in the books.. So I'm not sure how else I can get proof I'm out of work.

I called and emailed them all saying I have no money, Payday Express said to borrow off family.. which I can't.

I guess I will just have to let them build up and then come to an agreement when I have a job.

One more email or letter to payday express telling them your circumstances. Of course they're gonna ask you for a rollover payment, you need to tell them to sod off.

I do really think you need to get your ducks in a line. It's all well and good making arrangements to pay these companies but sticking to these agreements with no income is going to cause you more financial problems. All the hard and good work that you've achieved so far in negotiating with these sharks will have been for nothing if you can't afford to make payments.

Get in touch with job centre. You need to get a claim in. I appreciate you don't want to claim but it's important for NI contributions and gaps in your employment history I nothing else.

It never rains but it pours...

Thanks.. How can I prove I'm not working? Can't seem to get in contact with my ex boss and I don't have bank statements or anything as I got paid cash in hand and not 100% sure if it was done properly like through the books.

You dont have to prove to a PDL. Write a letter stating you have no income and you are waiting to hear off the job centre. Sign it as a declaration of fact and they have to abide by it.

Just understand that PDL's are notoriously difficult to deal with. They will ask for everything including your first born son as proof you are unemployed. You don't have to give them ANYTHING of what they ask for as they are not permitted to see any of it. Especially letters off ex employers, bank statements/P45's etc.

How do they expect you to prove you have no employment if you are not able to claim Job seekers

Simply email/write to them saying that it isnt possible to prove a negative ?

You have no employment - are not entitled to benefits of any kind and until such times as either of those circumstances change, you are unable to make payments.

How are you making payments to them at the moment ? If by Continuous payment authority you should immediately cancel your permission for them to take money from your account. If necessary, start up a parachute account with a bank that has no connection with the bank you are currently with.

I'm not making any payments now, before I was making weekly payments to QuickQuid and wonga, £25 and £10.. I spoke to QuickQuid and said my situation, I said I was waiting for Jobseekers or a job and I asked if interest would go up or anything, they said no and just to let them know when I get money.. I'm still sometimes getting emails from them though.. even though I presumed they were fine with it as I payed all my other payments off with them, I've paid back pretty much 75% of what I owe to them weekly. I contacted Wonga to but waiting for a reply..

I'm going to write a letter to Payday UK and express, last time I spoke to them on the phone they weren't helpful and my bill was so high.

Weirdly, I haven't been receiving any calls recently.. TFF called me like at least 2 times a day, payday express the same and since yesterday I havent had any calls from them.. my phones working as I've received other calls.. still not complaining lol.

How do I cancel continuos payment authority?
