Hi All

 

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer......my hubby and i and our 3 kids have had a shocking couple of years financially and stupidly very very stupidly we got involved with Wonga,,,,,all was well at first we convinced ourselves it wouldnt get out of hand and of couse it did,,,,,we now each have a debt with them and are recieving letter from Mackenzie Hall and Colemans,,,,neither me nor my husband can remember what our original loan amounts were we have had such alot going on but now my hubby owes 873.68 and i owe 559.81 i only earn 366.26 4 weekly so i am assuming i have interest on top my question is i have never dealt with these payday loan companies and wondered what should i be doing? what should i do? i can not afford to pay them and i am hoping i can get some of the amounts reduced any help you can offer would be great thank you

Ok. First you need to secure your finances and bank account.

 

Then you need to send either a CCA request to them, or ask them for a full breakdown of the debt.

 

Have a look in the PDL forums for more info. There are some horror stories in there, but in general, PDL's are all noise but no action.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Hi Renegadeimp Thanks so much for your reply our finances are safe we have moved bank accounts and closed the one associated with them this has been a while since these were due so i am safe in that way i am off to payday forum thanks again......

Hi Guys Been to payday forum more eager to get this sorted out now we are recieving telephone calls text messages voice mails etc etc what should i send them? where can i find it ? and could i hand write it because my printer doesnt work? thanks guys

Dont hand write it, just email it to them.

You could always email Mackenzie hall. They're always boasting about the great technology they have to find people and hound them for cash. But they never seem to have any proper paperwork and although they often threaten court action they never do.
