Good Afternoon, I want to start on a positive note about receiving PPI back from LLoydsTsb. In October last year after ringing them about PPI fraudulently sales (as I like to call it) I received 5 letters of offer, four for £1200 each,( which I received in November) and one for £8700. Now that I have got the niceties about Lloyds out of the way on to my gripe. As you may have already guessed I have yet to receive the £8700, I have spoken to the call handlers for Lloyds (bless them) many times over since receiving the offer letter and they have either lied every time I have rang to discuss the money still outstanding, or they really don't have a clue what has happened. As it has been 9 months now since I received the offer letter and wasn't going anywhere fast with my threats to Lloyds (going to my MP, sending the boys around (just kidding)) etc I thought I would give the FOS a crack at it. What a mistake that is, I had to give Lloyds a further eight weeks to reply with a new offer (nothing yet, due last week) and now I received a letter from the FOS and they have told me my case is being passed on to the Re-Address Team, which could take up to a year to be resolved. I was wondering if there is any other suggestions people may have on how I may go about trying to get my money back. cheers in advance

I have had the same problem with Lloyds TSB. I accepted their offe3r in August 2011 and am still waiting for a paultry £371!!!! I have phoned them a million times and got lied to or fobbed off. I have involved the FOS (April 2012) and they have written to be saying that due to the backdate they too are in a queue for some resolve and they will get back to me in the next 3 months (this time is up in July 2012). I have also written a letter of complaint to Lloyds TSB, Customer Care PPI, Tredegar Park, Newport. NP10 8SB on 06.06.12 but never even received an acknowledgement of this.

In my frustration I have today written to Lloyds TSB, Compliance Department, Mountbatten House, Military Road, Chatham. ME4 4JF

I also received a reply from CAG last night advising to let Lloyds TSB know I wish to take them to Court which I am seriously considering if the Compliance Department do not respond to my letter sent today.

cheers Stetford1 I'm going to issue a 14 dayletter before action letter to them today as advised by ims21 will let you know how that goes, not holding my breath though the banks seem to get away with murder regarding the length of time they have to pay their honest customers back what they are owned. Shoe on other foot and all that and they would have deffo involved the courts by now time for them to taste their own medicine..

Can't believe it, just spoken to Lloyds an hour ago, initially got the call centre abroad somewhere asked to be put through to the call centre in the uk and after threatening to issue a 14 day letter before action unless I receive my money I was passed to someone else who stated that my money plus interest would be in my account within the hour. I have just checked and blow me its there, now to put my PPI claim in for my mortgage, heres hoping thanks for your help, and never give up.. ;-}

Yes thank you. I think I have gone as far as I can at the moment. Your help, patience and guidance has been invaluable and taken some of the frustration out of a powerless situation.

Please change the thread by all means to reflect this.
