still on your CRA file?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

If the amalgamated company od Drydens Fairfax is as incompetant

as the two separate companies then they should be no problem.

Some more information please.

1. As Dx asks is the on your credit reference files?

2. When was the last payment or written acknowledgment of the debt?

Arrow Global have a lot of very old MBNA accounts it seems so this

MAY be statute Barred, ie., No payment or acknowledgment in writting

in six clear years, so check credit files for the default date the SB relevant

date is usually 6 months prior to the default date.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

Hi

I too am being harassed by Drydensfairfax for an old loan and they are making me ill.

What do you mean by statute barred?

This loan is an old Paragon one and is over 15 years old.

I had no correspondence from Paragon before Arrow global took over and I now allegedly owe over £22,000

because of the interest they have added.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

see below.

however the debt is WELL statute barred

so you owe nothing if its 15yrs since your last payment in/out.

Hi you need to write to the Compliance Manager at DF with the following:-

Ref:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dear Sir or Madam,

I refer to your recent correspondence regarding a debt for £xxxxxx which you allege is owed by me, please take note I di not acknowledge any debt to you or any company you may claim to represent.

I have now had the opportunity to research the alleged debt and have checked my credit history and have concluded that any such alleged debt is statute barred and I now inform you that I will not now or in the future make any payment or offer of payment.

I require you to cease processing and storing any data relating to me with immediate effect.

I am fully aware of the OFT Guidance On Debt Collection 2003/2011 and the sections regarding the pursuit of statute barred debt and also the guidance regarding the sale of statute barred debt without informing the purchaser of the status of the debt.

No further correspondence will be entered into.

Send recorded delivery.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.
