Hi, anyone help on this one.

Tried to claim back ppi on argos storecard.

 

Firstly was told to send off a letter complaining about the mis-sold ppi

 

Secondly letter came back totally denied i ever had a storecard with the.

 

Thirdly phoned them, got them to look into their archives, where they found me apparantly by my D.O.B.

Was told they would be investigating.

Two weeks later no reply.

 

i phoned again.

 

And the person who was dealing with me, wouldn't even come to the phone.

Apparantly she was just about to write to me.

But the message i got was there was no ppi paid by myself on the account.

 

i said if that is the case then send me a copy of my original statements and contract as i did not believe them.

 

The fact that they even tried to deny i had a card.

 

Was told they would forward then to me over a week ago.

Sent them an email.

Still no response.

 

It can't be right just to tell some-one verbally no ppi was sold to them, and end it there.

 

No letter no nothing.

Anyone any ideas??? or

 

do i go straight to FOS??

Hi

I wouldn't bother speaking to them on the phone. You should deal only in writing from now on.

 

I think you would be better to write a separate formal complaint to their head office (ensuring the letter says FORMAL COMPLAINT)

 

Whilst waiting for a response, I would also send a SAR to the data team so that you can get copies of your statements, copy of the agreement (if one exists) letters sent and received plus anything else you think may help your case.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.
