Hi All,I am in a desprete situation as I am being swampt with letters from Fedriktion International & others for Credit Card Debt (totalling £25K). all of these debt were taken out long time ago, one going back to 1998.After I lost the Job two years ago, I stopped paying these people. At that time, I came a cross the idea of asking them to provide me with CC agreement & one of the card provider MBNA came back with a letter stating not all the agreement is available at the moment & others sent me those agreements, on most of them didn't have my signatures.I have even changed house wth a hope that I would not be hasseled. To be honest, I can hardly afford to pay this debt although I have a job now. Can someone please give me an idea how I should be dealing with this people? In terms of this MBNA card where they have accepted that they haven't got my signed agreement, can I send them a letter which could compel them to write off this debt.I have received a letter from Fedrikson Int's solicitor (standard templete letter, computarised printed) asking me to contact Fedrikson within 7 days. Please Please advise as last thing I want is a Baileff on my Door where I have my wife with little kids.

Hi Aaron06,

I'm relatively new here but seeing as you haven't had a reply yet lets get the initial bit sorted out.

I think your first best course of action is to open a new thread for each debt in the relevant areas of the forum...

So 1 thread per debt with how much it's for...and the rough situation you are in for that particular debt.

By the looks of it you want to post in the 'Debt Collection Industry' forum as you say you haven't paid anything for a while.

If you accidently post in the wrong place i'm sure the thread will be moved anyway...just stick to 1 thread per debt though.

That way people will be more inclined to give you information as they will have something to reference.

So include the type of debt ( overdraft, loan etc ) who is chasing you...whether original creditor or DCA etc..How far it has progressed..whether you are making payments, etc and who to and if you had PPI with them, charges. The more basic information you give the more people can help.

I'm sure you'll find that people will start helping especially if they've had similar circumstances.

Regards,

Stormski
