Just a quick question. I had a 5 year IVA from November 2005 which finished in November 2010, all creditors were satisfied that I had completed it and I had the usual court order to confirm that it was all finished.

On checking my credit file, there are still defaults from Egg dating back to February 2006 and they still are adding defaults each month even though they have stated that they were satisfied with my IVA.

Should they still be on my credit file? Where do I stand?

Thanks

i thinkyou will find they are entitled to do so

eventhough you have an IVA, that obv is not meeting what you should be paying with regard to the agreement you signed on day one.

might be wrong

i'll let others comment.

does the account say ATP [arrangement topay] under its status?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

dx is correct they can still put defaults on your credit file and with dates you have stated they should drop off in Feb 2012 (or six years from the date the default was originally entered). Your CF should also show the date the IVA was entered into
