Can you do it like this please

 

Scan the required letters/agreements/sheets

remove all pers info inc barcodes etc but leave all figures and dates.

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites

convert the image to pdf format.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

NB:you can set where it goes in the post by hitting insert inline.

then hit reply button

Blimey...that's big enough.

 

The magic word in there is "Discount". Why would they offer you a discount if they get the whole lot.

 

This probably indicates that they have dodgy paperwork.

 

The thread indicates that you sent a CCA request back in April....what came back?

Yeah sorry bout the size lol. CCA came back with my sig and address, looked ok to me.. but I am no expert.

Assume for the moment that the CCA doc is OK. In that case if they are offering a discount it is probably all charges.

 

You need to get that SAR off as previously advised.

 

Once that is done you can put the account in dispute as you are trying to verify the quantum of the amount claimed. You will also have a defence to any court action on the basis that there are unlawful charges on the account.

 

So get that SAR off, like now.

Doesn't look like an assignment has taken place because sols are acting on behalf of.

 

Have you checked your CRA file for the default?

Can I ask, should I have received an OFFICIAL default notice from MBNA???

BTW I sent a hardship letter to MBNA 2 months ago and havnt had a reply.Their only reply is to set solicitors on me, thanks for being understanding.

 

I have to reply early next week to the solicitors as the 14 days will be up I need more time. How do I go about asking this. Do I mention the No Default letter??

 

Prompt replies will be appreciated as I dont want to go down the court route.

Yes, have replied Delboy. Yes, they do take your card details but they don't charge for the first month, the way daughter did it was to cancel by telephone next day altho they said she could still look at her records for the rest of the month, she got a confirmatory email that her membership had been cancelled so no money has been taken. No not saying Restons are not Solicitors but they and others like them always do a lot of huffing and puffing before they actually start court action. So basically when you can SAR or look at the CRA!
