Rossendales are a Bailiff Firm usually used by a lot of Councils for Unpaid Council Tax.

 

These people are total Barstewards who think NOTHING of adding huge fees such as "Van Fees", "Waiting time" etc etc to the original Bill.

 

You will see a lot of posts about this particular organisation on the Council Tax and Bailiff's Forum.

 

The nr 1 rule in dealing with these THUGS and **** is DON'T.

 

YOU DO NOT EVER HAVE TO LET THESE PEOPLE IN. If there is a High Court judgement against you (fairly unlikely for most people on these Forums) then a proper HCEO will enforce the warrant - not a firm of frustrated and failed Night Club Bouncers.

 

People like Rossendales are pure bullies and **** --never ever pay them anything --you don't have to - PROVIDED YOU HAVEN'T LET THEM INTO YOUR PROPERTY AND THEY HAVEN'T LEVIED ANYTHING so hide all vehicles / "levyable goods" if you are getting sent a nice New Year Card by these VILE VERMIN.

Thanks for your reply jimbo,I have logged a complaint with ofcom for what good it will do.I have seen from a lot of posts on the forum that they deal mainly with council tax debt which I don't have or ever have had.

Rossendales Collect has been going since 2004.

I would suspect they do the same as 'Phillips' do

Send letters out with their 'Bailiffs' heading (which they are) when they are only collecting on a DCA basis.

Hopefully to get a bigger inpact.

They are as has been previously said, a particulary threatening bunch who use 'Phil Michell' types to knock at your door, very intimidating and very frightening manner. They scared the **** out of my mother in law a couple of years back for council tax owing at a property she had never lived in.

 

But like all these bully boy outfits they have been nominated for a award, which shows the kind of industry debt collecting is, ?!?@@!

if you dont know about a debt and these fools are trying it on wait until they write then send the prove it letter, if they phone and you pick up just say in writing and put the phone down, also tell them to remove your number from their system

Even if you DO OWE Council tax you DO NOT EVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS OUTFIT -- see the posts on the Bailiff Forum.

The absolute NR 1 RULE IS NEVER EVER LET THESE CLOWNS INTO YOUR PROPERTY --THEY HAVE ZERO RIGHTS -- THEY ARE NOT HIGH COURT ENFORCERS.
