Well, the DPA only relates to the data of the person who's asking, so you'd only get the data relating to you, and if there are references to other people, the data controllers are allowed (even obligated) to take them out if that could make them identifiable, so I don't see how that's going to help you.

 

Plus they have 40 days to comply with such a request.

You can also view the records in person if they are unwilling to send them to you. I got a letter from a solicitor years ago in order for me to see medical records. I was only able to view the records and not allowed photocopies however I made notes of dates and comments found and proceeded from there. The notes provided reasonable doubt which in turn helped secure the next legal step of bringing the case to court.
