WEll i got a letter after I sent the prelim in and since then have heard nothin. I think I will phone them to ensure that they have received it. Atleast it will put my mind at rest.

I know how this waiting feels - i am tempted to phone them to find out when my statements are coming and I am not even past this stage and I am already starting to get fed up! good luck with your claim

Cheers, I think it just shows the complete lack of respect that they have for their customers and as the days goe by and I receive no response from the LBA, I get more and more angry!

A letter for the Halifax arrived just now offering me a full refund of £330.57. :D However is is stating that they will levy charges in future and they reserve the right to close the account, Can they do this?

 

Also how long will it take for them to pay the money in? CanI accept by telephone to speed up the processs and send the leter back. I am in desperate need of the money now as i have about £10 to my name LOL
