Marlin return Recorded Delivery CCA Request

Having a good sort out of my finances I have sent out 7 Statue Barred letters, and 6 CCA requests all by Recorded Delivery. All CCA's were sent with the Statutory Payment.

Checking off the delivery of each letter, I noted that the lovely Marlin, has instructed the Royal Mail to return to sender. Within the letter sent to them was a CCA.

It was addressed to:

Martin A. Dunphy

President & Executive Chairman

Marlin Financial Services Limited

The Courtyard

Shoreham Road

Upper Beeding

Steyning BN44 3TN

 

How can I ensure that they receive the CCA request?

If this is not possible, what are my options?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.:?

You have made the request. They have 12 + 2 days to reply. If they don't, you put the Account in Dispute and don't pay them a penny - end of.

Even though they refused to sign for the letter?

What they did with the letter doesn't matter. You sent it, you have proof you sent it so you made the request. If they choose not to return the letter, not read it and not reply, that is their choice. The count down to dispute has started.

You've sent it to an old address, should be

16-22 Grafton Road

Worthing, West Sussex

BN11 1QP.

They've probably given you an old address on purpose.

Also i've found if you mark the envelope as payment enclosed they seem keener to sign for it properly.

Then more fool them, regardless of whatever address you sent it to, if you have proof of an address they wish you to correspond too, and then they have failed to sign or accept the letter, it is they who will be answerable to a DJ not you.

The address listed at Companies House is still the one in Steyning.

Also Martin Dunphy is listed on LinkedIn.

The recorded delivery was returned as addressee gone away.
