Landlord Assaulted my sister over rent

My sister today phones me in histerics, she has been in the house for 7 weeks, she paid in cash 1 months rent and bond.

The Landlord decided to use bond for this months rent as she was skint.

He said this week on Thursday she had to be out (she has 6 months agreement)

He today turned up with 2 other men broke into the house starting throwing all her stuff out, punched her in the face nocking out a tooth and busting her lip, the police were called.

Arrested him, and guess what he just got a caution.

What a laugh

She has rights but is scared

1. The police need reported for this, assault is NOT a caution

2. A 'restraining' order can be sought to prevent the landlord coming anywhere near your sister or her family, even if she is ON the landlords property.

3. Breaking a restraining order is a criminal offence.

4. What kind of landord does this sort of thing, here in Glasgow its generally the Asian landlords extorting money out of their own unfortunate immigrant families that is the cause of many of these 'reports'.
