Yes continuing the fight and nothing heard from the DCA for a while so assumed they have given up.

 

Just started to rain here after it was 35C a couple of days ago! Strawberries need it tho!

I am trying to write a book on being in debt.

 

I would appreciate any short comments and peoples experiences in their own words on how debt has effected their health and lives. In particular the stress it causes and what being ignored by Lenders and DCAs when you are trying be responsible has felt like.

 

Only short comments wanted please. Say about 300 word max. No massive letters and i am more interested in the psychological effects and mental state, the frustration and stress that attempts to communicate with creditors has brought, rather than the legal side or section 78 failures etc.

 

I would prefer comments sent via hotmail or yahoo (link on the left of these posts) and not posted on the open forum please and rest assured your name/username will never be quoted. All in strict confidence and for my own use in writing about the subject matter and any information will be changed as to keep any comments i may add to the book as anonymous and not traceable back to any individual in any way.

 

Thanks folks... something may come of it. I may be a rubbish author! If it's not good enough for publication and if i ever finish it i'll post it online for download to try to help those being hounded by the evil doers.

Nothing heard from HFC or any further DCAs on this one. Have a letter in the post to them that will either be ignored or get this sorted. Either way, i am getting very bored and looking at starting Court Action as a way to resolve this before the year is out.

Nothing new to report. Haven't heard a peep from HFC or their poodles.

 

Looks like this could go statue barred eventually.

Can I ask you all a question with pure fact as the answer no hatred just facts? Did you borrow the money? Was it spent? If yes why not do the honest thing and pay back - Ok there are ways to work the system as detailed in all the above threads. However there are ways of getting of for a lot of things with loopholes does this make it correct? I bet you don't agree with the MP's expendature scandal yet they used loop holes ! Do you realize that the people you are ripping of is NOT the banks but rather your family/friends and also yourself. Who do you think pays the money that you don't? Put another way if you watch the debt collectors programs it clearly states that those people who miss council tax payments are responsible for x amount of extra council tax by everyone else to make the money back? The more people who default on payments the higher the interest next year for new customers - Whilst Im not saying the banks are honest I'm simply saying two wrongs don't make a right ! you wouldn't walk into a shop and pick a t.v up and walk out - In fact you would all probably frown upon that person !
