Hello,

I have 2 general questions regarding C.C.A requests, who do you actually send your request to? is it the original creditor or the D.C.A?

What is the correct cost? the reason I ask this is because recently I was told by a D.C.A that that it was £10, I thought that it was a £1. I think he may of been thinking of a S.A.R.

Thank you...

Send your CCA request to the last person who contacted you regarding your debt.....................usually the DCA

The price is £1

It is better if you can pay by postal order as you are advised NEVER to sign anything you send to a DCA, so if you want to pay by cheque try and get somebody else to write a cheque for you.

Send it by recorded or registered delivery and keep your receipts as proof of posting.

You can find a letter template here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt-issues/20758-creditors-dcas-letter-templates.html

it is letter N you are looking for.

  • Haha 1

:razz:ALWAYS REMEMBER, IF YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO YOUR SITUATION, YOU ARE MORE THAN CAPABLE OF GETTING YOURSELF OUT OF IT

WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE DCA's!!!!!!!!!!!
