  1. I had a repayment plan set up with Wonga and the first payment was due to coincide with my payday this Friday gone. I have checked the payment details I have registered with them and they're all up to date, but I received an e-mail from Wonga stating that the payment had failed and that I would have my repayment plan cancelled by 10pm the next day if they were still unsuccessful. I replied, to the customercare@ address stating that I was in work at the moment and I work nights, so I would be unavailable by phone for a while but that I KNOW there is enough money in my account to cover the payment and I am able to provide dated screenshots of my bank account online to prove this. No reply yet, but I've had two phone calls today, most likely demanding I pay the full amount irrespective of the e-mails I have sent. I would rather deal with them in writing as is the best course of action I believe. Small caveat: I also owe a £50 automatic payment to Buchanan Clark & Wells on behalf of my phone bill, which also is not showing up on my bank statement. Is my bank not honouring the payments for some reason? I have enough money in my account to cover both! Should I contact my bank and ask them what's going on? Please help, I can't understand what's happening, I'm getting deeper in debt and as far as I can tell it's nothing to do with anything I've done.
  2. Hi everybody I've taken out a few Wonga loans for the past maybe, year or so, and I've always paid them back on time. This time I've gotten myself in a bit of financial difficulty and the repayment date was today. I was planning on calling them after I finished work to discuss what I could do, but they've just gone and taken any money I had in my account! I had £122 to last me until payday and now it's gone! I have £2! What do I do? Do you think if I called them they would give me it back!? Any help with this would be appreciated, really, anything. Thanks in advance!
