  1. A while ago I defaulted in paying a court fine due to mental health problems. I had a Bailiff come when I was out so called back and said that I had no money and nothing valuable to take and he could come and see. He said that the office would call me but they didn't. I had a letter in the post today regarding Warrant of Arrest warning. It is headed HM Courts and Tribunals Service but I have to contact a mobile number (I thought that was dodgy) and a name which is the same ne as the Bailiff that came. I know I was so stupid in defaulting and in no way am I refusing to pay but should I contact this mobile number? It really is setting off alarm bells with the fact it's a mobile number and the Civilian Enforcement Officers name is the same as the Bailiff.
  2. I've received a letter saying that BG has obtained a warrant of entry. I received no prior notification of this. I have an outstanding complaint against BG with the ombudsman. How can I get this warrant stopped?
  3. I received a letter in the post today from a Bailiff stating that a 'warrant of execution' has been issued for NON payment of a traffic debt. The contravention dates back to 21/12/2010. (camera enforcement) I remember paying this , but its so long ago i can't remember exactly how and no longer have any of the paperwork. Can i defend this in anyway
  4. Hi I today received a bailif removal notice with a copy of a warrent of execution for a parking ticket. It was from april last year and i do not have a car. However i do use a car club and it is entirely feasible i did indeed park in the road, but defo did not get a ticket. Anyway the amount due is for £202. I wrote a letter to them telling them i dispute it and i will not allow them peacefull entry into my property as i live in a studio flat with my daughter so our front room is her bedroom. The amount they claim is £573 plus associated costs, how on earth is that reached when they only put 1 letter through the door....advise pleae
