  1. My wife has appealed DWPs decision to withdraw her (our) income support. GL24 was sent off yesterday. Do DWP have a certain time in which to let us know if they will change their decision, or refer it to tribunal? Also, as a result of IS being stopped, our Mortgage Interest Support has been stopped. Presuming we win our appeal (there is caselaw to back us) will MIS automatically be re-instated and backdated? Tanks
  2. Got a letter from Eversheds on Wednesday stating they'd applied for reposession on the 11th March. I went to court with them in 2007 and unfortunately I'm £1960 in arrears. My panic is that as I am away from home next week they may just come round and change the locks as I'm away til the 26th. Also don't know when I'll get notice from the court (I'm assuming they will write to me). I appreciate that the time may well depend on courts workload but has anyone any idea it would be appreciated.
  3. I bought a car using finance in 1996. At the time i was 21 and just happy to be accepted for finance. The car salesman didnt take the opportunity to explain the payment protection. At the time i was in a good job and was covered by sick pay in the event of sickness and had saving set aside. I dont know if its too late to chase this up and i cleared out the documents a few years after selling the car on. Would i still be able to make a claim to try and get the money back? What details would i need? How would i obtain the information required to make a claim? Any advice would be greatful even to advise i would no longer be eligible. Thanks
