  1. Has anyone else noticed premium rate incoming texts on vodafone bill? Vodafone are obviously profiting from this as they collect the money, take a commission and then pass it on to the 'service' providers - apparaently I can't use a word that sounds like 'scrammer' Apologies if there is already a thread about this but i couldn't find it if there is
  2. Good afternoon. I received a letter from Bryan Carter solicitors stating that they have issued litigation proceedings in the county court against me. And that i will receive a claim form in the next few days. This debt is something which i would say has been going on now for the best part of 10yrs which i have always contested. I even have a letter dating back to 2009 when i requested Lowell to provide me with a copy of the CCA, that they couldn't provide me a copy of this as they were unable to locate a copy of this. Time went on and i received the odd letter from Lowell asking for the money. Foolishly, maybe i shouldn't have ignored their letters. But it was like hitting my head against a brick wall when ever asking for a copy of the CCA. out of the blue comes this letter from Bryan Carter stating this claim. Could i possibly have some advice around what i need to do following this claim form? Clearly i wish to contest this in full as i don't even know the full amount of what is owed and who it is for and if anything was even ever paid. Many thanks

  4. My son has a vodafone mobile on contract with a monthly call limit. He has been keeping within his limit by calling his girlfriend's landline. She then immediately calls him back so that she pays for the calls. However, he has just discovered that he is apparently being charged for these calls - over £200 (his is a 17 year old schoolboy). Is it possible that the Vodafone line has remained open after he has pushed the 'end call' button on his phone, so that an incoming call from the number he has just called is read as a continuation of the original outgoing one? It's the only explanation we can think of. Has anyone else come across this? We are talking to Vodafone, but no progress so far
