Trouble I have is I had an agreement which was paid off back early last year and I have no idea what this is all about or what its regarding. I did move bank accounts 3 weeks ago and found a direct debit paying some company me or my wife didn't recognise and cancelled it, so car not received any letters so I'm wondering if we have been paying for something we have no idea what it is? Any ideas?
  2. Anyone come across this lot? Received a very aggressive email from them chasing a really old debt of £127 which they say was attributable to EPDL, and going straight for court action... Emailed them to say don't remember this and who are they and was emailed back with: Ecashwindow Ltd is the new name for Early Pay Day Loans and are happy to supply you additional information you require. Call 01908 440050 in order to discuss further. In the meantime legal action will continue. Nice outfit...!
  3. I previously had an Egg card which was taken over by Barclaycard with new card etc issued. The account is completely online and is paid off fully by direct debit. Statements are intermittent and not always notified by email. I have been hit by overlimit charges on several occasions - something which Egg also did whereas other card companies do not authorise transaction. I know that Egg managed to justify such a charge with the FOS by some means so there is little point in making a complaint there. £12 seems an excessive charge for what is an automated process Has anyone any experience of these charges and any challenges to them? Any success in small claims court?
  4. Hi, first time poster here. Thanks in advance to anyone that replies!! I financed a car through moneybarn via Carloan4U. Unfortunately I lost my job and two direct debits were returned, I contacted these pirates at Moneybarn and they pretty much stone walled me. I know I'm at fault here but I have a hearing coming up at combined court next week after requesting a temporary time order until I fix my employment situation. I took the car off the road when they said they were gonna repossess and parked it in the garage of my friends empty/unletted house (hes in property). The repo man knocked on my door and somehow seemed to know it was parked in a garage in the next town over. Even though I hadn't told a soul of the cars whereabouts and I don't know anyone who lives on that street. The forums are alive with talk of GPS trackers in their vehicles for people with bad credit (my credit isn't great hence using carloan4U), also I emailed a few people at Moneybarn & carloan4U using an assumed name, and they confirmed after much questioning that this is what they do. Does anyone know of this and if so where the tracker may be hidden? I'm grateful for any constructive input! TY - Wazz
